TRAKCAR does ED

Hi Trackcar
That a great thread. You are running camber: -3F and -2.5R, is that with stock suspension other than shims on the LCA? If so do you know what caster you get at -3F ?
Enjoy your trip it looks fantastic.

Coming back to reference lap times in Spa/Belgium: Just heard from a friend of mine who was driving in Spa today his 991 GT3 RS that he managed 2.41.8.
And he is a very fast/good driver. No way that 2.34 can be achieved in Spa!

Just for fun comparison, Sabine S did a 2:43 and change in a BAC mono. I remember seeing that video somewhere on youtube.

991 GT3 RS cannot do Spa in 2:34.
For reference,
Koenigsegg 1:1 2:33
McLaren P1 2:34
Power helps there.
991 GT3 RS could be able to do a nice high 2:3X but no way 2:34.
The 2.43 seems like a popular figure there, also my fast BMW-friend tested one ordinary 991 GT3 with CUP2 and did 2.43...he knows the place very well.

Caster will change whenever you change camber. First time I added negative camber to 997.2 RS and didn't adjust caster tires started rubbing. Reset caster to proper numbers and rubbing disappeared.
Could be aggravating your rubbing issues.

For the 991 GT3 front the factory paper says 8.5 but I believe it's wrong and so do others. I haven't around 12 geo sheets from members here showing delivered geo settings and most including myself were delivered around 9-9.5. I moved from factory to -2.15 front and the front castor only changed a little and ended up 9.5 which is about the most you can go without rubbing the liner. Interestingly the car has proven to be no quicker on more aggressive settings and the tyre wear only marginally better. I've had it moved back to factory and it's perfect other than front tyre shoulder wear. For my mix if driving between tracks and on tracks I think around -2.15-2.5 is optimal...
