I also live in Dallas and have got my cars from Park Place. ALL at MSRP or below.

The only dealer here that asked over MSRP was Porsche of Plano. They have no shame. Especially since Autonation bought them.

I cautiously optimistic that Park Place will treat me right when my number gets called on the .2 GT allocations.

If you are a repeat Customer and you believe to have a good relation- they are screwing you and there is no questioning that. Tell theme to "F-off" and take you business else where. I have no patience for this type of stuff. This is "after the fact" scenario.

+1

I'll never pay above MSRP for any car. I just don't need it that bad to give away my money.

Significant premium over sticker for cars that already have miles.

Thanks for helping!
Got allocations from Autobahn, plano and parkplace both MSRP. I ordered from out of state because I did not want it delivered winter time. I wanted SpringTime.

Got what I wanted for MSRP too.

Default Question on 2016 GT3 Pricing

A lot of time on these price issues, the specific sales guy you get and the timing of the purchase is more important than the dealership.

Can you give me a feel for whether this is in market, and if it is not, whether I'm really going to be able to find this car anywhere else at a lower price. I'm in the Dallas, TX area.
Getting my 16 GT3 at MSRP. Was supposed to get an RS allocation and it didn't come through so I believe that this is a gesture. I bought a 15 GT3 from same dealer. I do think that volume of purchases and relationships with a dealer have impact.

That's what I'm really curious about...who steers the ship when it comes to deciding if they will charge over MSRP (and how much) or not? My guess is that it's the sales manager/GM but you gotta think that the sales guys have some input...right?
