Question on 2016 GT3 Pricing

I also live in Dallas and have got my cars from Park Place. ALL at MSRP or below.
The only dealer here that asked over MSRP was Porsche of Plano. They have no shame. Especially since Autonation bought them.

I cautiously optimistic that Park Place will treat me right when my number gets called on the .2 GT allocations.

If you are a repeat Customer and you believe to have a good relation- they are screwing you and there is no questioning that. Tell theme to "F-off" and take you business else where. I have no patience for this type of stuff. This is "after the fact" scenario.

I'll never pay above MSRP for any car. I just don't need it that bad to give away my money.

Folks I appreciate all the support and opinions, but I was hoping for some real data. A couple of you said you got it at MSRP. Anybody else that can weigh in with what they paid would be very helpful. What strikes me looking at used RS's on cars.com is that the pricing is very strong. Significant premium over sticker for cars that already have miles.
Thanks for helping!

I have worked with the same dealer for several years now, having purchased a number of Porsche's from them. So I implicitly trust them as I always felt they are fair. But I'm reading other threads herein that have me worried. I gave them a $5,000 deposit for an October build slot on a GT3, for which they would like me to pay $25,000 over sticker.
Can you give me a feel for whether this is in market, and if it is not, whether I'm really going to be able to find this car anywhere else at a lower price. I'm in the Dallas, TX area.

That's what I'm really curious about...who steers the ship when it comes to deciding if they will charge over MSRP (and how much) or not? My guess is that it's the sales manager/GM but you gotta think that the sales guys have some input...right?
