After seeing that car if you didn't buy it, I would have. Great car and great build.

Does anybody know what these 2015's at dealers are actually selling for? It doesn't seem like they are moving and all seem to be priced between 10-30k over msrp, some even more. The magic number seems to be 169,900 (or close to it) regardless of whether the car had a 140k msrp or a 160k msrp.

I'm not sure what they are selling for. I do know that my colleague just paid $15K over MSRP for a '15 at Isringhausen and Southlake Motorcars recently sold one for 10-15K over as well. I spoke with my dealer (Park Place Porsche) and they claim they have not had luck selling any above MSRP.

Thanks for the info. I wonder what the variable is that is contributing to the sale, or non sale, of these over MSRP cars. I'm guessing LWB have a lot to do with it. I'm also finding high MSRP cars- 160k+ that still don't have LWB so, in my opinion, they are just loaded with options that ultimately aren't going to help with resale down the road- ie- leather wrapped fuse box, etc. IMO, a 160k+ sticker on a car with no LWB, some even without PCCB, are cars spec'd with a bunch of stuff that I don't care about and others won't be willing to pay for in the future.
If anybody knows of an Agate or GT Silver out there that isn't advertised in the normal channels, let me know.

This was part of my reasoning for keeping the price of my car at 140K with LWBs. Though that was mainly for the scenario of deciding that the car wasn't a keeper, whereas I have no plan to sell the car at this point.

The one at Tyson's, right? I was hoping for a lower sticker than that but at least they are aren't trying to charge 20k+ Over for it.

you could always just build a 2016 too..

Agreed, under MSRP for any car spec'd decent isn't likely. I'm happy with MSRP or a bit over. Yeah, has to be a typo on that autotrader ad.

This would be the best route, but good luck getting an allocation at all let alone at MSRP.

I've heard of a few allocations that were at 18K, 20K and 40K over MSRP. I laughed at the dealer that was charging 40K over, what a joke.

A dealer around here in Boston just sold a 2015 with 350 miles for 16k over. I know because they were firm on the price.
