Pictures!
Photos? Yes, this one I took a few hours ago. Old citadel of Porto-Vecchio on the eastern coast of Corsica. Our chartered yacht 'Balista' is seen in this photo taken from the old fort above the port!

We are staying overnight at this port and return tomorrow to Sardinia. Additional photos of this part of our trip at this thread:

Also, if you look at manheim auction, there were 3 transactions this year.
03-03-15 sold for $149K with 1,291 miles
06-04-15 sold for $152K with 12,152 miles
07-30-15 sold for $147K with 3,832 miles.

Some of you guys are saying the GT3 RS is hurting the GT3 value. But I think it's doing the opposite. It's creating more demand for GT3s because all the people who want the GT3 RS that can't get one will want the normal GT3.
I agree with this. A used RS will be considerably more expensive than a GT3.

My old GT3 is here:

http://www.bmwroswell.com/detail-201...-13808516.html

It was originally listed at 17k over, now 2k over for the past few weeks. It's been sitting on the BMW dealer lot for a long time and it hasn't sold . I believe the car would have sold very quickly at a Porsche dealer. If they go any lower, they aren't making any money vs. what they gave me for it on trade.

You did well. Perfect timing. Many of these dealers paid near or MSRP for used ones thinking they'd make a quick 10-15K flip. Reality is now setting in. With 6K miles, they won't even get MSRP for it. Their loss, your win.

By the way, GT Silver is the best ..

I don't think anybody got $10K~$20K over sticker. But I'm pretty sure that if people sell their car in Manheim auction, they would easily get $145K~$150K depending on miles. And that has been the case this whole year.

They made their money on the M4 deal. They will not sell the GT3 below what they gave you because they're a business and can't afford to lose money.

GT3 supply seems at the highest point now.

People are selling them for RS and Porsche released more 2016 cars.

RS is a better bet for resell. Here in BC Canada. 997.1 Gt3 are asking 85000CAD and 997.1 GT3 RS are asking over 200K CAD. I know a guy brought a 2008 .1 RS with 60000KMS for 185K.

I think porsche will produce to meet the demand for GT3 and RS.
Just the demand for RS is smaller. 180K is a lot money for a car.

My '15 GT3 with LWBs was about $163k MSRP (1,300 miles) - dealer come down slightly on last trade offer to $153k, but still no really bad.

+991 The fact that many can't get the RS is keeping prices elevated for the 991 GT3.

If they are a smart business they will, so let's see what they do. Seems like they keep selling GT3s when they were supposed to stop earlier this year.

I agree with the OP. It's a bubble ... really not sure why anyone would pay over MSRP for a depreciating asset that you also have to pay taxes on?

Eventually (and probably very soon, w/i the next 12 months I imagine), the GT3 will depreciate to below MSRP as any other car should and will not sell for over that anymore.

2015 Jet Black beauty w/LWB's with only 1,200 miles. Doesn't get better.

SOCAL

157 MSRP - asking 162K now (has come down - - "market adjustment")

Make an offer.
