Reference Guide to PTS

Hello everybody!
Do someone have real life pics in the flash of the "modern" Olympic Blue?
I saw that GT4 of an Eduardo's friend and a black striped 911R, both at their dealers, but those pictures weren't the best...
Also: were continental orange and signal orange approved for 991?
Looking for a PTS for my incoming GT3...

Sat at a table with adam Schiff today, ranking democrat on the intelligence committee. He very clearly stated that across both sides of the aisle, the members of the intel committee are deeply concerned about the mental preparedness of our president. This is no idle talk, I don't want to go into further details because the meeting was about internet security, voting machine software penetration, and concerns over encryption.. but a little politics definitely slipped in there and the words "president" & "greatest liability" came in multiple pairs.
To bring this back on topic, I'll paste below what I saw on PorscheUSA yesterday for PTS availability w/Turbo models. I guess that's one way to sell Turbos! Does this mean PTS is around the corner for GT3s?

I am on a 'Sabbatical' from Rennlist. But let me interrupt that by
telling you that 'Zanzibar Red', color code 1A9, is on the approved
list for 991/718. The name for the color in the German language
is 'Orangerotpericolor' so it's not listed under the letter Z on the
official PAG approved list:

Eduardo, mind coming out of sabbatical again to help us find "GTS red" as googling it only brings up carmine it seems. And yet I remember GTS red is its own distinct color no?

my friend! Perhaps you can run for office as a Demo*rat & join Adam Schiff on
the House's 'Intelligence Committee' in the swamps of DC!
Volvo Club of America (as painful as these might be!) than hang around
Adam Schiff & his Left-Wing wacko acolytes. How is Schiff qualified to be on
any 'Intelligence Committee' anyway? His name has never been associated
with keenness of the mind!
So Alessandro, please keep these political comments in the 'Off-Topic' forum
& not on this PTS thread (nor in any other Porsche-related forum)! Political
commentary (including my own Conservative views) is not what we are here
to read And in fact, I believe they are in violation of Rennlist forum rules.
Learn from your previous reprimand for posting the 'BubbleHead' Trump!
Danke!

But this time for re-sale to the public!

Nein. Both went through feasibility tests & ultimately rejected.
Same for 'Tangerine/BlutOrange'. We don't know exactly why.
PAG doesn't explain why some colors are not approved.

Please forgive me for asking this question, but this topic is 209 pages long, and I have ADD so I'm just going to ask it now and hope I don't get chased away for it.
Am I understanding that the PTS program limits you to a (fairly large) list of already tested and approved colors, and you can not expect that your specific chosen custom color (which is not on the approved list) will be accepted?
But it might be approved if you are patient and lucky?
Is that right?
I do not expect that I'll be in any position to order a PTS color (or buy a new Porsche) at any time in the foreseeable future. But the idea interests me.
The dream color for me, if I could order a new 911 in any color at all, would be this one:
DuPont (now Axalta) Hot Hues "Amethyst Reflection", paint color code 741454-HH
This is on a custom painted CRT projector installed in my home theater system.

tech wizards here at Rennlist. No one is going to chase
you away because your advanced mathematical skills!
model like a gt3, gt4, gtr RS, etc. increase dramatically if you chose an
already approved Paint-to-Sample color. A feasibility study on 'Amethyst
Reflection' might take 6 months or years...and your dealer's allocation is
more immediate than that!
And he is willing to wait for a feasibility study on the color
to see if it will 'pass'. But he knows it will be unlikely it will
happen in time for a .2 991 gt3!

projectors & expensive home theatre systems, you could afford
a new PTS Porsche. But with your peculiar color tastes, CM, I
hope it's a Panamera!

I get my equipment on the used market, for pennies on the dollar, or not a lot more than that. And then after refurbishing it I flip the excess for a (modest) profit. It's not profitable enough to allow me to order my car any time really soon but it's at least a modest source of income and I enjoy the work.
Not a fan of purples? Normally I'm not a purplephile myself, but if I got to order a new 911, I'd want it to have something unique about it. I'm partial to blues but all the shades I really like have been done before. THIS shade of purple just makes me grin every time I see it.
Since my dream car would be a model that's always available (Turbo S), I could certainly have no problems with waiting for approval. I waited 9 months for approval for a suppressor for one of my rifles. Six months for paint approval is nothing.

I don't have much to add to what the undisputed master of PTS and very helpful to me Eduardo has said other than to confirm that I am willing to wait (ADD sufferers and PTS don't go well together, patient OCD people like me seem ok with the process). I still have hope I may get a PTS GT3 991.2 in my color of choice, but I am an optimist. As Eduardo and a few others know, I have taken some unusual steps to try to make it happen.
Making the request for my chosen color to get the feasibility study going was not hard at all, but (and a BIG but, I had all the RL information from the four or so threads Eduardo started -- yes I read all the posts in each one!).
Process was: Go to dealer. Request PTS allocation. Dealer gave me contact info for person (Yana) at Exclusive. Email/talk to Yana or someone else at exclusive about what you want. Do what exclusive asks you to do (you may need to send a sample of the paint on a card, I did not). Dealer and Yana do some stuff. Place deposit and sign purchase contract. Dealer submits order (there is some way to do this that gets the PTS approval process rolling and my code is V070 which means it is submitted and feasibility study is underway). Wait and keep your fingers crossed!

I am not fan of metallics. But now that you mentioned
both 'rifles' & 'suppressors' in one sentence, I must tell
you I am getting quite attached to 'Amethyst' after some
reflection (pardon the pun)!
