Looks like it is, probably one of the exclusive edition Targas that was created for the Netherlands from memory. I think France got Slate Grey and UK was Polar Silver. There are probably others throughout Europe.

All those PTS cars are great. Nice variation in a sea of white, silver, and black. From the front or side you can see the front orange reflector to get an idea of how many are NA cars vs. ROW cars. More PTS cars are coming out of the factory every day so more factory visits would be great if anyone has the time. I'm going in May but that will be after all the PTS's I think.

If anyone can get a vin for NA PTS cars it would be helpful for building a record of colours produced.

We reported this 'Green' gt3 for sale several weeks ago, starting at
post # 974 on Feb 04, 2016!

Well, what is it maxt? 'Viper' or 'Signal Green'? We can
identify the 'Gelbgrün' on the left. But what is the grün
RS ahead of the 'Blue' one at the right?

From Gerald's photo I would guess 'Viper', but we need
the photographer to tell us if he asked the question!

How about 'Peridot Metallic' in the shade as a guess!

The mid-1990's Porsche color 'Iris Blue' doesn't

Or it might just be a PTS 'Gulf Blue' Targa ordered by
a run-of-the-mill Porsche customer! The Dutch Limited
Edition had nicer looking wheels!

Thank you for the two paint formulas Hp1. And why are they not
identical, you may ask? Well, I think it gets back to what I wrote
yesterday. See highlighted text in 'red'!

. PAG color code system
is unique to that manufacturers. And it frankly doesn't prove, or disprove,
anything that the internal color codes for 'Voodoo' are not the same at
Toyota & Porsche.

3) PTS is customer driven. So a customer has to request a color
by submitting a sample and then Porsche does a feasibility study
for coverage, fading, et al. on the different surfaces (plastic, steel,
aluminum, magnesium, etc) on a particular Porsche model. It is
then approved or not. If the requested color is NOT a vintage/
historic Porsche color that has a previous association with the
marque (e.g. 'Signal Orange' or 'Gulf Blue'), the requesting PTS
customer can decide WHAT to call the color he/she requested.
So it can be 'Hot Rod Pink Metallic'; or 'Pink Shoe'; or....
'Voodoo Blue'. More than likely the person at PAG that
received the customer's 'Voodoo Blue' sample did not question
the customer's color name designation for it. 'Voodoo' is not a
copyrighted name. So if the customer decided to call it 'Voodoo'
& it's approved by PAG after feasibility study, the requested name
would be also approved for it! The color might be identical to
Toyota's 'Voodoo Blue'...or not. But the customer had the right
to call it that regardless.

4) Having said all of that, it would not surprise me if the original
PTS request for 'Voodoo Blue' (which was done on a .2 997 I believe)
came from someone that thought he/she was trying to duplicate the
FJ Cruiser's color. Whether Z12 indeed approximates Toyota's 'Voodoo'
remains yet to be determined.

Texas since Thursday (we flew in to Austin from San Jose). The
reason for our trip was to join a group of 22 late-model Porsche
owners who are doing their annual three-day 'fast-pace' tour
of West Texas from their base at the historic old Gage Hotel
in Marathon!

The tour is organized by Jack McCall, a long-time Porsche
sales professional in this region who is presently employed
by Momentum Porsche in Houston as 'Ownership Experience
Manager'. Jack is also known for putting on a longer five day
Ozark tour of great driving roads in Arkansas!

John, a Texan I met via Rennlist at this 991 gt3 forum (jfr0317,
suggested last summer I sign up for the event & generously offered
to let me drive his MY2014 'White' 991 gt3 for our visit! How could
I turn him down?

For this trip, John used his 'White' MY2015 911 Turbo S, although he
also had the option to bring either his new gt4 or 981 Spyder! Some
people have more choices than others! I am most appreciative for
the opportunity to visit with John & his wife Jenny in Austin & spend
this week here with his Porsche friends in beautiful West Texas!

More about the 'West Texas' car driving tour at new thread
I'll start soon on this forum.

Eduardo

Although the title seems obvious I'm curious about what an Ownership Experience Manager does exactly and how many dealerships employ one.

How about 'Peridot Metallic' in the shade as a guess!

Thanks Eduardo, as for Peridot, I can see your point with the photo.
However in person as you have so many times stated, the colour
is completely different than the camera shot. I wonder how many
people have been disappointed after receiving their cars as the
actual and camera shot are so different?
Thanks again, hope to see chartreuse in the flesh , sooner than later.
Safe journey and enjoy your trip. Sounds like fun in the sun.
Safe Driving.

Eduardo, I'm sure you hit Marfa being in Marathon, a very cool part of the state. Good for top speed testing on "closed Mexican highways".

Jonathan: We didn't have any spare time on this first trip.
But I'll be back if you let me drive the 'Signal Green' RS
when it arrives!

Apparently, part of his job is to put together some awesome drives
for his personal customers! And he has been doing this for years!

That is why it's imperative for everyone that orders a PTS vehicle
to first see the hue in person...even if it means getting on a plane
& making a visit to someone that has a Porsche in that color!

Thanks! Yes, we got some great sun in our drive Tuesday!

*
And I got to see Mexico up close & personal today!

Big Bend National Park / Rio Grande / Río Bravo / Santa Elena Canyon
You can walk across to the Mexican side of the border & barely get your feet wet.

Couldn't make it to Marfa today because we spent too long at
the Big Bend National Park. We'll hit Marfa on our next visit!

As for 'top speed testing', yesterday I hit 150 on the 991 gt3.
Today I drove John's 911 Turbo S briefly, but only found the
opportunity to get up to a miserly 131 mph!

We had a more ' leisurely' day on Tuesday since 'Law Enforcement' was out
in force on Texas Highway 118. But even a 'slow' day in West Texas beats
a 'fast' day in all California public roads around Carmel!
