I am v070 on my 2016. Hoping for v200. I have a 2014. The cost to get out of the 14 and into the 16, Imho makes it a no brainer.

Not as far as I can tell, so far. Unless it gets the new 918 / Macan steering wheel... but it feels doubtful to me since this short MY2016 run of the 991.1 GT3 is just rounding out the existing production run.

The only real difference? Parts that are 2 years younger.

Should be identical save for the LWB option...

Nothing was wrong with the 2014, I Slightly scratched it and the insurance company decided it was too big of a scratch to fix so they totaled it.
I had an RS spot but decided against it plus the fact that I truly enjoyed the gt3 so I'm getting another one. No difference between 14 and 16. I did splurge on the 16, got fire extinguisher this time.

MY2016 v. MY2014:
-- 2 years newer
-- Buckets not available in 2014
-- No engine recall issue/story (yes, some people care about this)

If I had a 2014 and could get MSRP or close to it on a 2016 trade, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Who wouldn't? Many dealers are selling used 2014s and 2015s at over sticker on a regular basis, so it's not unusual to get MSRP or close to it on a 1GT3 trade. There have been several reports of this here on RL.

Congrats. I would have done the same. Another instance of an RLer passing on an RS for a 2016 GT3.

For me the RS is too much of a head turner, hell my 3 get's enough as it is. Back work bench is also a bit too much. I get more than enough attention with what I have, don't need any more.

Agree. What kind of dealer trade in values (or quotes) have people been getting on 2014s? I have a low mile, lower option 2014.

My dealer in Midwest said they are offering around 85% of sticker for 14's. I asked as I was interested in buying a used one and they mentioned to get a 15 not 14. This isn't Cali either where cars are overinflated. A 14 is not worth sticker. The dealer may try to sell it at sticker but be prepared to be offered around 15/20 k under sticker for a trade value.

My 2016 dealer (midwest) just sold a 2014 for over sticker. I don't know what they paid for it. If I had a 2014 for sale and my local dealer offered me only 85%, I'd simply pick up the phone and look elsewhere. When my local dealer made an offer on my '14 C4S, it seemed low. So I called a few other dealerships. I quickly had an offer for $7500 more from a dealer in another state and they paid for pick-up and transport. It's not that hard to pick up the phone and make a few calls. And it doesn't make good sense to judge the national market from one dealer's offer.
