Go after them! Win or lose it's nice to make some people think and give them a little discomfort. Move their cheese a little. Throw a little monkey wrench in their day...

FWIW my SA told me this morning that 9 total allocations for '16's have been given out nationwide with one car starting production. He said none in the southeastern region and all in Texas, California, Arizona and NY.

Possibly an unpopular sentiment on my part: 991.1 GT3? Yesterday's news. Let's get more 991.1 GT3 RS allocs. As for non-RS, I'm already longing for the 991.2's.
(Granted, I'd probably still buy a PTS 2016 991.1 GT3 if it were made available to me.)

Could he tell you which dealer in CA? Just trying to keep my dealer honest, as I'm supposed to be #1 on their list for a '16 build.

That would explain why the rest of us are waiting on confirmation. Somewhat comforting news to hear.

Yesterday's news? Perhaps for some, but judging from this 30-page (and still growing) thread and the waitlists at most dealerships, I don't see it. Some guys gave up their RS spots to pursue a 2016 GT3.

I am one of the many sitting V070 praying for V200.... I sure hope some allocations make it to Houston. Hopefully they will satisfy demand as they have done previously. Should anyone here in the Houston area secure an allocation, POST IT!

In many ways, and even perhaps in all ways, the GT3 is a better all-around car than the RS.
