Intriguing! The aluminum uprights and wheels on the standard UV scheme were the 2 obstacles for me to choose that color. Okay, and the fact that I've wanted an Orange RS since the 7.1 days! But alas the negativity being drawn to the LO over the last couple days is really making me nervous with my current specs. So the rarity of the UV "and" me being able to match black wheels (I despise cleaning wheels) with the black uprights is really drawing me in. What kind of uber Porsche investment are we talking about for the uprights? I mean if the black wheels (all 4 of them) aren't tremendously outrageous, can Porsche really bend people over for a whopping "2" erector set structures

Curious, as well.
I suspect it could be requested via Porsche Exclusive as a CXX option (Special Wishes / Special Handling), since it's no effort on their part to just use the other sticker / wing strut.

The cost however makes no sense since Porsche Germany definitely lets you pay for the change which actually is no cost on their end. I did not mind since that is how I really wanted my car.

Just received email from the dealership.
Status - V300
Location - Port Emden
Sails for America - 7/31/2015 (Anyone else leaving that day?)
I am still wet my pants pumped, only one negative, I am a yellow orange fan, (my former Zanzibar, the 2008 RS, etc., my Boxster is racing yellow), so what's my negative? The posts questioning the Lava color are concerning. I have been trying to determine if striping helps break it up (there is a picture out there of a 991 RS with the 2008 RS stripe above the rockers, looks nice, also the 997.2 4.0 stripe with RS 4.0 and the matching hood stripe might be nice) - Thoughts?
