There is no way to get the Clubsport package here from Porsche , nor will they even weld in the mounting points. This is true in Canada, and I believe also in the US. Nor do you get the lightweight windows.

Thanks Peter; however, it is unclear (at least for me) from your other thread as to whether you are/were able to source the entire cage that was available for Europeans and whether you are doing the installation yourself. If you are doing the install, you are obviously more adept than I!!

I know 918 owners spent a lot of money on their cars, but I feel like Porsche has unfairly given those owners first dibs on all of the recently released GT cars. I totally understand that Porsche wants to keep their current and most valued customers happy, but there are many enthusiasts in the world who also deserve to be given the chance to purchase a GT car. I feel like if Porsche continues to do this, new customers will start too look elsewhere.
The thing to remember is that PCNA created the 918 Spyder VIP Allocation program to sell 918 Spyders when sales were sluggish in the first 2/3 of their sales cycle. It wasn't actually designed to reward 918 owners, but to incentivize people to buy 918's.

Awesome. We get there on the morning of the 8th to hang out for delivery on the 9th. After that we are still working out the details since this is a 10-year anniversary trip for my wife and I. I feel there will be some balance between track time and spa time.
