I actually do not know. I'm not one of the "30" but know someone who has access to the tracking system- because he is watching a car for me that is one of the "30" that may become available to me. I'd prefer to just say I'm out right now- since I am currently (for the sake of argument/chatter)......good luck and hope you get it soon!

Without even asking about 2016 GT3's I just got an email from my SA saying they have internal rumblings directly from Porsche that there will be a limited run of 2016 GT3's (no RS) and would I be interested in one? He said that his dealership might get one or two.
I have a GT4 on order already with September delivery... if these 2016 GT3s materialize I am going to need a bigger garage quickly![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

If PTS are allowed in MY2016 gt3s, those of us getting now one of these MY2015 'Signal Green', 'Arena Red Metallic' or 'Fashion Grey / Modegrau' gt3s would have an alternative purchase option. And surely none of us would then have to pay a markup above MSRP to get these late '15's with the weird specs. So for many of those buying these last of the '15 PTS gt3s, the announcement of MY2016 gt3s & PTS would indeed be very welcome news...and a potential savings of thousands of dollars! Let's hope PAG & PCNA make the announcement soon to level the playing field...and stop the price gouging by some greedy dealers right on its track!

I wonder if it has anything to do with the rumored extra allocation for GT3s.

I have an Arena Red that went V260 in body shop April 8.
I haven't heard anything from my dealer since. So I am wondering can I be delayed if my car was going through production ?

It is still at V260. It entered the body shop on 4/2, is expected to go to V270 (exit production) on 5/1 now.

The delay will be nothing compared to my GT-R when it was in production the nuclear plant blew up in Japan. I was actually scared to get in my car due to radiation. If there was ever an excuse for a delay that was it.

Below are three photos of my Rometsch Beeskow... They were designed in the late 1940's by Johannes Beeskow and coach built by Rometsch Coachbuilders from 1950 to 1957 in Berlin. They are all aluminum and there are about 35 left in the world. In the late 1940's and very early 1950's there were a lot of small coach builders in Germany and Austria building sportscars on VW components with modified suspension and engines. Mr. Beeskow worked at Joseph Neuss and later Erdmann and Rossi coachbuilders before working with Rometsch.
Mercedes swiped the fender "eyebrow" detail for their 300SL from the Rometsch Beeskow in 1953 after this Beeskow design won the "Golden Rose" prize at the 1953 Geneva Auto show.
I don't want to swipe Eduardo's thread... as this car always swipes threads... so Google "Rometsch" for more info.
Other small cool period VW based coachbuilts to google:
Denzel
Dannenhauer and Stauss
Hebmuller
Karmann
Stoll
Wendler
Drews
Beutler
Glockler
Porsche ;-)
SO... to keep things on track... let's get back to Eduardo's 991 GT3 frog discussion!

For those of you still interested in a PTS .1 991 gt3...don't lose hope just yet! And if more gt3s are built, it would not surprise me if PAG allows some of them to be ordered with a PTS option. ![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)
