So true. I have an excellent relationship with my dealer. There staff is the key along with mutual respect.

No worries. Just sold my 458 btw.

I'm 44 so maybe it's my senior status that gives me perspective :-)

Maybe this is a good learning experience for Porsche on how to improve their customer experience when mistakes like this happen.
Understood, only difference being one phone call or note to pmna who is highly motivated to handle this at the dealer level for the awareness/benefit of future pmna intro's.

You didn't do anything wrong and I sincerely apologize if it came across that way.

PMNA = Porsche Motorsports North-America?

They would get involved with a manufacturing error of GT3?

New console was ordered with highest priority from Germany this last Saturday. Dealer feels they will have the part first week of January maybe sooner and install will be quick and easy. They will program mapping and should be fine.

Though this was a weird one, issues do happen and I think judging the response to problems is the best way to see what makes a company. With this one it seems there was some initial confusion and some folks on the Porsche side that should have known the product a bit better, but it's good to see you weren't left hanging for too long, that the resolution was quickly sorted, and that the dealer and Corporate seem to be doing what they need to to make it right.

Congrats, good to hear the dealer finally figured it out to be as simple as plugging in a new keyboard. Too bad they had to feed misinformation about missing wires.

Great to hear the good news for two reasons, one your baby will be fixed quickly/easily and secondly, Porsche continue's to look after problems properly and quickly....sign of the way things should be taken care of.
