2014 GT3 Lap Times - CA Tracks

Sorry about that....I was running scrub R6s with 12+ HCs with full monoball suspension, Ohlin dampers, and no side mufflers. I was shooting for a sub 3:30 but the R6s started falling off on me.

Thursday was my 2nd time were at TH and I was only on 4 hours of sleep so not in the best conditions. I was also running NT01s/RA1s that day. I think with another day and some R6s I could have run a 1:57 or so no problem.

i did a 1:55 at BW CW 13 in the afternoon with a passenger XD . If you think a 991 gt3 with come close to a cup your driving the cup to slow. First time at BW but my friend pulls a 1 49 in a cup and longer mazda turn.
Did you use driver aids ?

I know this has been asked before, but I think we should avoid shortening Big Willow and Buttonwillow, given they would be the same. I'm guessing you mean Big Willow?

Cup is quite a bit faster as you mentioned.

I hear this a lot about big willow (assuming you're talking about big willow) "don't like it" "boring" etc. I have a damn fear of that track. It's mentally frightening, to get a fast lap out of that track you have to put it way out there. I find the track deceptively technical and challenging, despite its perception of simplicity. So to your point, wringing every last second and tenth out of that track is tough. The thing I hate is that when it bites it bites HARD. Big difference of spinning off track at riverside at button willow vs turn-8-9 or turn 2-3 at big willow. I like streets a lot. Fun track, just a little short. I think my favorites though down south are button willow and chuckwalla.

Full driving aids and in automatic mode! Only my second time driving a 911 platform ever at BRP (Buttonwillow Raceway Park). It makes me really nervous as the entry/exit speeds the GT3 is capable of are so fast.:O
