Compensation
Has any one actually received payment from Porsche or has correspondence that compensation is on it's way? Other that the loaner cars.

I received the release form 5 days ago, signed it, and mailed it back the next day. The accompanying letter said compensation would be released as soon as PCNA received the form. I was originally told it would take 2 weeks. Clock is running....

Trust me. They will pay what they conveyed. It just may take a little longer than you would/should expect based on their history the last 6 months. They just move in slow motion

Mike, did the paper work you received include any mention of the additional year warranty. Not sure if they are planning to send us some supplement warranty documentation to reflect the additional warranty. Mark

Hi Mark, here is the letter that came with the form. It does refer to the warranty and the engine certificate as well as the compensation. I was informed by my service manager yesterday that the warranty doc, engine certificate, and stickers were processed by the dealership and are being FedEx'd to me today.

Mike, I have a problem with the compensation language. It says they will pay compensation UNTIL YOUR ENGINE IS REPLACED. It should say UNTIL THE CAR IS DELIVERY BACK TO YOU.
Hopefully, Porsche is implementing the compensation with delivery date despite their wording.

Nick, in my case there was the date the engine was replaced, the date the car arrived at my dealer, and because I was on vacation, the date that I took possession which was about 10 days later than the arrival date. So, wording of the letter notwithstanding, I'm curious to see which date they will actually use. Will keep you guys informed...

I suppose the wording should say "the date when it becomes available for you to collect it."

True - If you happen to be out of the Country for 4 weeks and the car becomes available to be picked up during week one; that should not be your problem. When ever any of us get the chance to pick our cars up is the day that should only count

I have a question on another note about compensation. I was sitting in a show room GT3 at Pacific Porsche today and noticed there was no seat memory buttons on the door for the 18 way seats. My GT3 is due in from engine replacement at the port of San Diego in 2 weeks. I ordered Option P07, Adaptive Sport Seats Plus (18-Way) with Memory Package. This is what exactly is stated on my build sheet at $2635.00 USD. If it's not included, I consider that bait and switch and not getting what I paid for. I know it may be a little petty, but how do other owners that ordered the P07 feel? Did anyone ask for compensation or anything in return for the false advertising?
