Look into Hüper Optik nano ceramic window tint. Putting it on my GT3 I have it on my other cars and cuts heat in half without super dark tint.

I have it on my GL and like it a lot. Noticeably cooler than other tints I have had.

^ You have the 40%? Does it look good, as well? Is it a dark tint or more of a mirror sort of look?

Nice - Congrats

I may have to wait until Sat the 23nd for pick up unless the car hits today because I do not think they can get the tinting and clear bra ect done in time for this Friday at noon. Headed out this Sat on vacation. I certainly do not want to rush them ect and the tint needs at least 2 days before use.

Thanks guys. 17 months since deposit and I'm sure its worth the wait. It better be good because this is about the longest I've waited for anything in my life. With all these cars hitting the roads, I'm going to assume an increase in public awareness and perhaps increase in demand. Congrats to all those who have one and will be getting one.

Thanks bud. If you see a wreckless gt3 driver it's not me. I gave that up a long time ago and I've been very responsible since last week.

Jimmy if your comes in and mine doesn't I will test drive yours until you come back and then decide if I will take it!! Does seem odd that it is taking at least two now into week 3 to find a transport truck.

I've never seen a reckless driver in a 911!

Why do you tint windows? So no one can see in (I know there are limitations as to how dark for police safety)? Aesthetics? Repelling heat? If heat there are many other places on the car that absorb heat.I have never had an issue with heat on any high performance car.

Am I missing something? BTW. what does it cost?

Nick, you have probably never had heat issues because you live in the San Diego area. A tint, preferably ceramic, is very nice to have to cut down on heating in places like Texas and Arizona. Obviously, if you leave the car out long enough, it will eventually heat up from a sun load, but the tint really slows the rate at which the sun load can heat the interior of the car.

I use the lightest tint I can get so as to have a minimal effect on visibility at night.

A high quality ceramic tint should cost around $450 to $500 for all four side windows and the rear window.
