Mike a fellow RL'er and friend switched from a 14 to a 15 did get compensation letter $2k mth/ no extended warranty. He got his letter same time we did few weeks back. He is expecting a Nov delivery also. Picked up his 911 loaner a week ago. He's deserving as well, they blew a May ED delivery for him and he was deposited over a year ago. You ever see killer whales bat those baby seals around......he's not the whale
I believe those letters went out before folks were moved to a 2015. According to Ian, those folks do not get the extended warranty or the $2000/month.

Letter went out to me after I was informed being moved to 2015. I did get a 911 loaner and was told would be getting $2000 a month compensation.

That's odd, I'm guessing 2015 models will be lucky to make it here before the end of the year. If what you were told is correct, the Cat C folks got the best deal. Ian at PCNA, has been pretty consistent with info I've read. This is the first I've heard of Cat C folks getting compensation.

I realize it's a 2015 but it's still the same car as the 2014. I was delayed from May delivery to now being quoted Nov 14th.

In the exact same situation, euro delivery was to be this week, no compensation or loaner offered as of yet, just a 2015 with more expensive option, red belts, full leather and three revised sport chrono all increased in my new rebuild

Yes, but without the stigma. I'm not saying you are wrong, it just contradicts everything I've heard. It would surprise me that in the end you end up with a 2015, for less money, than the poor A listers that had to have engines replaced. If that's the case, as I said, the C listers clearly got the best deal.

I have to agree that is sounds like a mistiming of communication. PCNA is being pretty stingy with compensation relative to the ROW and yet they are going to give some people a 2015 AND 6 months of comp @ $2000/month? I guess nothing should surprise me, but that seems off the charts. Great deal if one can get it, though.....

Mike, I really hope you folks that already had the cars delivered, receive a big bump in compensation of some sort.

I'm hoping, but not counting on hearing some concrete info this week.

Getting moved to a 2015 with delivery in November plus $2000 a month and a loaner is one hell of a deal compared to Cat A and B buyers. Cat A will be fortunate to get their cars before July and B owners August/ September.

Cat A and B owners will be saddled with REPAIRED 2014 cars while some CAT C's get 2015's and the same compensation. Sorry, though I wish the best for everyone this is not fair to Cat A and B owners. This clearly is a disparity regarding the compensation.

I will gladly give up my 2014 and wait a few months more for a 2015 plus compensation being given to Cat C owners.

Porsche needs to increase the Cat A and B packages.

I think either Skuplist negotiated his own compensation, or it was simply a timing issue as Mike stated. Ian at PCNA, definitely told me that Cat C customers, simply got moved to a 2015, with no compensation and standard warranty. He did say they would work with those folks, to make sure the original build price remains the same.

Thanks, doubleurx. I'm not counting on anything extra comp-wise, but it would be nice if it happens. I do expect we'll hear something this week though.....

Guys after getting the "we hope to know more in a week" for a couple of months you either just let it ride and forget about it or get out of line and get something else.

Right up front I think they were pretty clear their "compensation" they were offering was moving you to 2015 model year cars. They viewed it as doing you a favor.

I know you guys are waiting but there are a fair amount of turbo s coupes out there at a discount. The car ain't no slouch. No regrets here....at all.

Porsche applies compensation from expected delivery for the Cat A and B guys and the Cat C guys have to wait the longest being bumped to 15's. Don't they deserve the Comp too. If not why else offer a loaner, I understand the warranty but they missed their summer like the rest of us.

^^I don't want anyone to be overlooked. My main gripe is the "one size fits all" approach. Each category of buyers has their issues with different levels of loss-of-use but some folks have much more significant financial exposure than others. Compensation should be better tailored to those different situations, IMHO
