Alan brings up a very good point: what happens going forward for every other delayed delivery for EVERY model? Does Porsche "compensate" them too?

I totally agree, those of you that took delivery or have in some way paid for the car should be compensated at minimum for your "cost of ownership/loss of use", but if your delivery is now technically just 'delayed', that opens up a very big can of worms for Porsche with all future buyers.

They must be taking cues from Michigan grads? (go Buckeyes).
different folks, different strokes. I was expecting mine front half of Jan so I sold shares in Nov, took the tax hit in 2013, and now the $160k is getting a whopping $20 in monthly interest vs. the shares I kept in the same investments, earning thousands... You are correct that I have not parted w/ my money but there is a very real opportunity cost... My $0.02.

Default Dealer paid compensation

Has anyone's dealer agreed to add to the compensation package from Porsche?

With the same dealer I have negotiated between $5K to $8K on my previous purchases. I have yet to pay full MSRP. Will let you know the result when the car is available. Don't want to ask now. Gotta see the car 1st and go over what needs fixing. 3 to 4 months at the port will need some fixing.

How ironic that PCGB now is giving the GB owners a much better package than those of us in the US. I suspect most of the owners in the group letter are from the US.

I will wait until next week to see if PCNA increases their offer. If not, it will force me to take action which I have been resisting.

What is the status of those that were moved from 2014 model to 2015 regarding compensation? Are they getting compensation and if so what is it?

No compensation, now extended warranty and no loaner. They get the best car of all of us. They win we loose. We get lemons they get peaches.

I don't know if anyone really knows for sure. I know I haven't heard diddly or squat from PCNA.

All I know is from the internet. And we know how reliable that is - combination of rumor, speculation, innuendo, and outright lies.

Guess the COO of PNA is not a good source for my comment above?

Andrea at PCNA seemed to indicate that an update to that very question will coming this week. I am going to call her Friday or email her. In Mr. Quinn's letter to me, he said there is something. But it could be minimal I suspect. Like you won't have to pay more than you originally were quoted for the 2014. At this point I am just glad I am finally at V200 with Nov. 7 delivery.

Well, I think the Compensation package needs to go form $2000 to $3000 per month to start.( I am a category B) I can live with the 1 year extended warranty. Any 2014 moved to a 2015 should get a loaner, as a minimum, no increase on any 2015 options, and a lump some compensation upon delivery for good faith rather than a monthly agreed to package.

Agreed. $3k a month becomes a much more fair number now that we finally have some clarity as to dates. Since most of us won't see our cars until August or later, these cars really will be a year old.
