I've come to believe that PCNA sees Canada as a market that doesn't need any real service. Speaking to a couple folks who've taken delivery of their GT3, they haven't had any of the conversations with PCNA like we've heard from our American counterparts regarding compensation.

I'm planning on sending a letter to PCNA, but frankly, I don't see much good coming of it.

I'm fine with the dealer, I think they did the best they could - especially since they are North America's newest dealership. I bought my C2S from another dealership, and I switched because it was clear that they had all the business they wanted, and could care less about their customers. I think this is something where PCNA needs to step up and create some uniform and mandatory policies on how these sorts of things should operate. The standard, dealers are independent BS just doesn't cut it.

Has anyone got an update about compensation?

Got a call for dealer in Dubai and they offered 6k USD, no extension on warranty and a loaner within the next week.

As per the dealer, this is the bests they can do at this point.

We haven't been given any info in the US yet, but $6k and no warranty extension is WAY too low.

Had you taken delivery of your car?

What is the warranty for cars in the Middle East?

The offer may provide some insight as to what we can expect. The offer he received is similar to what another poster in Denmark was offered although his amount was 4KUSD higher.

If you declined the offer, will they buy the car back?

MikeOhara,
Are you owner, having taken delivery and already paid in full, or are you awaiting delivery? Different subsets of GT3 customers will presumably be managed differently.

Me car has been with the dealer since the last week of Feb. Haven't taken delivery. Additionally the local dealer confirmed that no new cars will be manufactured till all the engines are replaced. That's all I have so far. I asked about the warranty extension and got an absolute no. The warranty in Dubai is just 2 years.

Did they reveal timing of the swap?

MikeOHara - Just to clarify. Since you have not taken possession of the car they are offering $6K and a loaner if you stick with the car?? And if you decide to walk??

Mike has your engine been removed? The fact they are offering you a loaner seems to imply it will take awhile before they replace your engine.

MikeOHara,
IMO, your status will/should be managed differently relative to those owners who have paid in full, by financing or in cash transaction. Your 6K may be the PAG calculated depreciation risk you're facing if keeping 2014 GT3.
