Lawyers don't make much money in Germany. Their pay is well below a Porsche engineer or even an attractive Porsche ambassador. You have a better shot of a getting a discount from Porsche, if they get rid of few engineers or lay off couple of hot ambassadors.

I've asked myself this many times and my only logical response is that Porsche will not speak until the issue is fully resolved from mechanically, legally to PR. And when they do resolve the issue and decide when and how the dragons can hit the road, they will contact owners individually. This is how I think PAG plan on this situation not becoming more of a public event than it already is. Remember that people do have a short attention span. The reason we are all glued to this thread is that we have an emotional and financial interest in this solution, otherwise we'd be on to the next current event.

Porsche clearly knows the owners frustration and the reason behind releasing this update on a Friday. I am willing to bet they read Rennlist post often. Sure hope we get closure next week and I don't want to hear we are working on engine problem.

I saw some nice new GT3's today at Brumos. Some friends and I drove over there from Amelia Island after the Gooding Auction. An acquaintance is a salesman there. He gave us a tour. We all talked cars with him and he showed us some really pretty inventory. There was a gorgeous 4.0 in service that we got to look at. What a car.

They didn't seem conflicted by the GT3 situation as I genuinely believe that they do not know any more than they are being told.

The Brumos Porsche people are a very pleasant group.

BTW; If I run into Alwin Springer tomorrow I'll pick his brain. The sound of silence will be deafening.

The weekend has begun. We've got an email to munch on and I've got a beer in hand. Hope we all have a bit less anxiety now and enjoy the weekend.

I need a beer too. Just need to find a place that serves Pliney the Elder and I be a happy camper. You should try it if you like IPA

Not true.

Not with respect to the DE lawyers I work with on a daily basis.

Agreed. The attorneys I know in Germany are very comfortable.

What r u guys thinking?? Can't make it appear too attractive for being an attorney in Germany then risk losing our national treasures of US attorneys to Germany. Just protecting our US interest! LOL

I was at Brumos yesterday too on the PDE and the unofficial word it was one of the gaskets failing.
