Just speculation, but I think the color behaves similarly to Racing Yellow. Yesterday my car looked like both of the actual photos. In dawn and dusk it was much darker, and a very rich yellow and at noon with the sun out it was very bright yellow with a slight green tint.
The UV model I purchase has the same behavior, but I don't think they're 100% accurate representations either. I think the actual UV photos are both accurate and it'll change significantly based on the lighting conditions.
I don't have pictures of it exactly, but this is pretty close to how it looked during the day.
Man I just can't like that Purple, looks like something Prince would drive.......in Minnesota. But hey what do I know I'm paying $5500 for a color that should be standard

At the new Porsche Center here in Atlanta they had both Lava Orange and UV panels. We even took them outside for a comparison, LO was nice but I really liked the UV. UV with black rims would be killer
