They can easily sell 2000 GT3 RS's worldwide. Easily sell 3000, to be honest. Maybe even more, and still there won't be any sitting in dealer inventories.

Maybe not in every country, but I assure you that demand in the US is shockingly high.

Well, that confirms where the antenna bump will be (i.e., not on the rear decklid as other 991's).

That's too bad. It really breaks the lines of the wonderful new magnesium roof.

(Granted, I don't know where else it would go, considering the newly designed engine cover.)

The GT3 RS isn't limited either.

Both these cars are limited in terms of production capacity due to the small team that works on them (Porsche Motorsports, lead by AP).

"Limited" to me, generally means Numbered. Otherwise, the true limits are their capacity to produce... And they continue to claim that they don't think they can produce that much. (I don't believe it, considering they keep on producing GT3's, but who knows exactly -- other than AP, himself, and PAG.)

The 918 Spyder VIP program was created to help move sales of the 918 Spyder in North America (primarily).

Even if they made more, they're different models and demand at that price point may be higher. Though honestly, I disagree and think that more GT4's will be made. Also, it is highly speculated that there are more GT2RS's which are numbered to 500 and was available for one model year only, than there were GT2's which they'd have made as many as they could sell but evidently demand wasn't very high.

Limited is such an arbitrary word in the automotive industry. Remember the Cherokee "Limited" that was so popular in the 90's? hahahah there must have been 5 million of those things made! Intact, I'm sure a good number of people in this very forum probably have had one of those lol

If I'm not mistaken, more 997.2 GT2 RS's came to the US than 997.1 GT2's, even though the RS was a Numbered/Limited edition, and the GT2 wasn't.
