Yeah, disappointing news! I think I'll just skip tomorrow and go Friday when I have more time.

Odd.
They are the same type of fabric, as I understand it. It's just that they weren't allowed to call the Orange colored one Alcantara (which is a brand/trademark).

Just got a call from the General Manager of my dealership and just got allocation for build in November delivery in January! Not ideal timing but just glad to have the spot, feeling very lucky and glad its not an april fools day joke! Now I get to perseverate over the configuration. Discussed PTS with A1 Black and they are going to see what PCNA allows, worse case I'll wrap it just for kicks. Looks like I'm in!

Is your build considered a 4Q allocation? I'm just curious if my dealer is giving me the run around when he says that I'm slated to get their 4Q allocation. From what I'm seeing from a handful of RLs is that they're receiving V200 codes for Dec builds, which I would assume I'd be given as well IF indeed my dealership was being truthful.

If you have an RS order. This came out an hour or so ago.....

991 GT3 RS (MY 2016)
Option
Description
Status
Delay
991 GT3 RS has a longer production process in the start-up phase.
As a consequence, relevant vehicles might be delayed up to 4 weeks in relation to the allocation month.
These delays are already considered within the expected dates of the relevant orders and are shown correctly in the Order Management system.
Interior
P11
Full bucket seats
From allocation month April 2015 onwards up to 8 weeks delayed in relation to the allocation month.

I believe so, but this was a totally unexpected allocation and "deals" were made to get this additional allocation. As to what that means I have no idea I'm just stoked that I have a confirmation. I had anticipated build in 3rd quarter of 2016 at earliest but this was an unexpected bonus for the year.

Does this mean my October build with LWB will be delayed 8 weeks?

Don't worry folks, I promise you, the delays will be completely forgotten when you finally take delivery and sit in those CF LWB's.
