Interesting...$450k for the CGT back in 2004 is worth $571,000 in today's dollars...still doesn't get us there....

The RS is only limited by the amount of buyers.

If this is indeed the last NA car without the assistance of KERS or turbo there are going to be far more buyers than cars.
I think Porsche recognized this and put a big price delta compared to the GT3.
I had a very fully loaded 991 GT3 and it was $165k and my upcoming RS came out to a whopping $211k

I've been thinking the same way. But if you think about how many 1.3s they sold I still think they will try to supply demand with the 1RS! For the first time in 15 years PAG can actually make a bit of money even with their Motorsport division! The 6RS was a costly car for them. Only sold 682 units. The 997rs is as we know an amazing machine but probably the worst climate to sell cars! 2008-2012 was awful for the car industry! The 1.3 was as we know the biggest success sales wise but very costly because of the engine replacement. I would love to see a big success with the 1RS/gt4 sales wise! That means more money to Motorsport division and we can hopefully see Porsche on the podium more often in the future.
