My assumption would be that since these dealers had received four 991 GT3s, they'd be large enough to receive at least one RS. The lack of not hearing anything is concerning, unless other dealers this size are also waiting to hear on allocations.

I think you're right - I've heard from 4 small to medium sized dealers on the east coast and all got at least 2 allocations last week.

My '11GT3RS was PTS. I think I am happy with Lava orange. I thought about GT Silver though. I do like the black interior with orange accents. The GT Silver interior looks just like my GT3 and I wanted something more obnoxious. LOL.

I'd like to do ED, but waiting for the delay as you mention. If it's 6 months it could still work, but it'll probably end up being a winter date I'm sure.

Winter is OK, just pick it up later, you can buy up to 6 months extra insurance.
I figure Sept through Dec/Jan is OK if no delay.

If cars build 3-4 months later with PTS that would be much better.

Don't know the exact build date but it is August.

PTS is not confirmed for me. The dealer is requesting PTS with Voodoo Blue as my choice. By requesting PTS they are letting PCNA know they have a customer who is requesting it. So if PTS opens up my allocation might get pushed into the PTS batch. At this point none of PTS is confirmed on my car other than the request.

Just to respond on the ED option for you 991 GT3 RS guys; I know the people who do ED's usually want to do a lap or two around the Nordschleife.

I know of a website where they organise trackday events on the Nordschleife/SPA Franchorchamps/etc., if you guys want I can inform if they do an event around the time you guys plan your ED's. Usually they do 2 or 3 trackdays a year on the Nordschleife. That way you can do a complete day driving on the Nordschleife without the tourists, but instead only people who regularly take their cars on the track.
