Yet another data point from my dealer today, a premier Porsche dealership...not necessarily new, just adding to our fact base. I strongly trust what I hear from this dealer.
- RS will be announced/launch in March 2015
- allocations will be distributed to dealers at that time

Basically the 991GT3 is a baby Cup and the 991RS is a baby RSR both for the public.
I would like to see how much of the 991CUP can fit on both of them. (Wheel sizes, suspension, aero.)
With DFI and RWS, I guess sharing parts will be limited this time around....

magnesium roof apparently....that rumours been doing the rounds for a while.
and for your 30k...dare say the 918 wheels drop the flab.....
that rather defines a geometric $ : lb ratio.......
should be lashings of CF..but nothing specific I've heard.

My wish would be that they would offer the wheel design of the GT3, forged in magnesium, instead of the 918's magnesium wheel style.
Oh, and throw ceramic wheel bearings (also from the 918) in on the deal since they will charge an arm & a leg on the option anyway.
Anyone at Porsche listening?

Don't think this photo has been posted yet. Seems to confirm what we've seen in the previous leaked model image and other photos of the camouflaged cars too. I think it looks really aggressive and I personally love the blutorange colour! Even the extra front fender vents are growing on me (especially with this colour car). To me, this is the best image of the front fender vents that I've seen so far, and it shows a fair bit of detail here. It also seems to corroborate the deviated colour alcantara inserts on the seats (and now also the centre console lid and maybe door panel?). The deviated black on the mirrors, wingtips, and (in the photo on the box) headlights remain too.

Pics come from a friend(there is another one of the back,but is not so good)
I love it!!
And,no...the roof is not flat...is like The front hood.
