There hasn't been any 180. I have always been a fan of the z06 and looky here said I would want one if the looks were that good and they are. Maybe you are reading too much into things a bit.

Just wow. This is the first Corvette I really wanted since, well, since ever!

I can easily see myself changing my 996tt for a C7 Z06. That's saying a lot. Good job GM.

Now, I will certainly wait a year or two to see how the reliability is. But that sure is a winner.

Will definitely be looking at these for a weekend/track car in the future!

Had a few vettes and loved them for over 20years. There was nothing you can do to change my mind about vettes until the damn camaro/optimus prime lights came. The photo of the z06 was probably PSed so in real life, its the same damn stingray that breaks my heart every time I look at it. I don't care how they slice it, its the regular stingray with a few aero parts.
She's not a bad looking girl, she just went to surgeon once too many times.
Gt3 is my new girl now and like her because she has real natural curves. being pure also helps.

Functional.... sums up the new Z06.

If your looking for a "track car" it's simply hard to beat any of the Z06's.

If you are into "cars and coffee" it's hard to beat any current Aston Martin, the latest "Fiat (Ferrari)", or maybe the new Jag. "F type".

Specs are great, but the looks....talk about over styled. Could they add any more bits?
Looks like a bad aftermarket kit.
A friend has a blue C6 Z06 Carbon Edition, which IMHO is the best looking Vette.

That's all functional aero and cooling. Just look at any race car. This thing is a beast. It looks all business and no fluff -- I love it.

Looks very functional but I won't have another supercharged track car.

Why? Power delivery or issues with heat soak (or some other reason?)

My first and last comment on this car: Power, yes. Handling, probably good. Quality, mediocre. Looks, horrible. Target Market, a few racers, a few 20 somethings, many OTH car buffs. Bottom line, the new pet of the car mags and drag racers. For me, no thanks.

I'm no expert in this area, but supercharged cars seem to have problems overheating on the tracks I've been to.

I am not a fan of yellow, but picturing it in black is sinister.

Jesus Christ.

I'm still processing all the edges and polygons the car presents. Not sure what to think at this point and I was really excited.
