Off topic...but wow....

And Chevy doesn't void warranty for track use, I believe.

I was expecting some 8,000 RPM small block cranking out 550+.

This is going to be one very hard to control car.

I hope it looks better. I still think a 14 yr kid could have done a better exterior design.

750 ft-lbs is BEAST! Imagine what this car will do with simple exhaust, pulley, tune mods!!!!

Still don't want one though. Unless the looks are just that good.

Ok,is it NA or not?

Even if supercharged it should sound good.
If it turns out to cost under 90K,that'd be a bargain for all that power. And MANUAL! How does Chevy manage to offer it with all that power and torque and still pass regulations,it is an achievement on its own!
Porsche is just a greedy money making machine selling excuses(we're a small GT department,it's too costly).
Wish Chevy will improve a lot more in the quality department!

The Porsche Turbo people don't seem to complain about not having NA horses.

Yeah, it's a great value - who cares if it's still a piece of crap? Walmart is a great value, too. You shop there?

Ever read any of the Autocar or Evo reviews for the prior Z06? Paraphrasing: impressive performance, uncomfortable and scary to live with. I would add 'embarrassingly cheap and gaudy' to the list, but that's just personal taste...

I expect this will be similar, but improved. Like the current GT3 versus prior and therefore the difference between the two will remain the same and they still won't be substitutes for one another...

Yeah,I shop at Walmart. I used to get my Mobil1 0W-40 there and drinking water. Now that I've switched to Castrol TWS 10W-60,I only go for water.
Joking aside,I agree with everything you've said, that's my fear as well, that it will be a piece of crap. I have never driven one and never been interested to read reviews about it,but one is starting to wonder at some point... I believe one has to keep an open mind about everything...I am not married to Porsche.

Wow, it's a beast. Love the looks. I wonder how controllable all that power is.

Thanks - hope so! If that is true, who is choosing the Z/28 at $75k instead?
