Shipping update: For those on the West Coast awaiting the arrival of the Lyra Leader, it's managed to cross the Atlantic safely and as of 5 minutes ago was off the coast of Puerto Rico headed for the Canal at 17.5 knots....
How are you getting such detailed info on your shipment? Great to have!
That is great news! Exciting to say the least. When do you think it will hit San Diego?
Yeah, my wife kept kidding me about the Bermuda Triangle. Scheduled ETA for the canal is 0630 on 12/24. My Porsche tracking schedule says San Diego on 1/3 but am hoping to get a more precise timing from the vessel tracker after it clears Panama.

There are several sites. I'm using www.marinetraffic.com. Search the name of the ship and it gives you position on the map, heading, speed, ETA to port etc. Info is from land based tracking antennas (no satellite tracking for free) so it's been 5 days since it left area of the Azores and showed up in the Caribbean. Kind of fun to follow the movement, actually...
Mike..Thanks for the site. It shows my ship, Grand Legacy, docked today!! @Davisville, N.J. I knew it was coming but very cool to track it. Won't be long now.
Mike, you need to take few turbo engines and install it on this ship. Its plain torture.
silverrules, it definitely is. I keep thinking about the old joke where the captain of the slave galley decides he wants to water ski. Maybe he'll force those bastards to row faster!

yes. Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) announced that it moved its port of operations from the Port of Baltimore to the Port of Davisville in North Kingstown, Rhode Island.
Just arrived houston I've been in contact with Leon at north houston Porsche about the delivery they have been expecting no show yet he thinks early next week. I really want to see this car I'll take pics if I do and post them. I guess they are adding two days two my build for a custom order I made but they only charged me $104 + 2 days. If I thought my car was on ship close by I'd swim out to meet it!

So this is your car. I've been bugging them to let me know when it comes in so I can see it. Mine on order is also white with red stitching. Let us know when it gets there. Would like to go see it.
