Thanks! Yeah, technically by 3 days ahead of the 11/29 scheduled date. But since all scheduled dates are Fridays, my assumption is that they are really projecting a one week window. Next scheduled marker is 12/6 to leave port, and with any luck I should make that.

If it leaves Emden on schedule this week, according to the tracking info I have it should be in San Diego the week of 1/10.....

SD? Ok, now I believe it. Looks like 'Unified Port of SD'. Thought it might be fun to go see it go in, but this is a major/major logistics situ. Probably get run over by a crane. - Looks like they have an integrated rail system and move the cars directly to the trains. Amazing. Watched the video. almost as good as 'Megafactores -Porsche GT# Production -- Nat Geo 45 min.

Owned by the Port of San Diego, and operated by Pasha Automotive and Distribution Services, the terminal services as the primary port of entry for one out of every eight cars imported to the United States. Audi, Bentley, Honda, Isuzu, Mazda, Lotus, Mitsubishi Fuso, Porsche, Volkswagen, Hyundai and Kia are all imported. It also expertly handles lumber and other large project cargo

Mike, I think our cars could be shipmates. Mine is scheduled to ship on 12/6 to arrive at my dealer on 1/10. Unfortunately I probably won't be able to drive it here in the Chicago area. Oh well..at least I can sit in it.

Mike, great news! My car will not be delivered until sometime in March. Since you will be still in the break-in period, I will provide you feedback on how well the car performs.

Sorry, I could not resist.

That is a brutal delivery date... hopefully this early cold means an early spring? though i suspect its just the opposite. i live downtown and just got an allocation for mid April delivery. Will give me something to get through the winter.

Cool! One advantage to living in CA; should have some decent driving weather....

LOL.

Nick, I'm planning to do a lot of driving in the first couple of months. Got to have it broken in before autox season begins.
