^ Well said. The proof will be in the pudding, or in this case the driving.

Well that was a solid idea!

Carry on now with the GT wars.
Just don't put a 3 at the end (yet) and we can all be friends.

I think AP is just grumpy because no one likes to be told their baby is ugly.

it's all a ploy to get no manual cars as trade-ins.
dealer sells new cars outright.
will backfire though when guys bring gransports and 430's to trade.

yes: CL, coolant lines, nannies, engine tranny failure. these i know already and trying hard to ignore. but any other things we are unhappy about? i am just curious.
I'd add the variocam adjusters.

For the other gt3 customers that are really truly offended- don't buy the car.
To clarify, when you say "I'm a gt3 customer", does that mean "I own a GT3", or "I'm ordering one of these cars?"... I'm just looking for the perspective.

Motorola flip phones are cool but smart phones are better. Sure you can't use use your thumb anymore but you can do so much more.

I think that's the future and you guys should give it a shot.

Maybe AP is right, maybe its will deliver more fun and may require more skills. Just drive them judge.

There are people in every discipline who can be "persuaded", including journalism. OTOH, there are plenty of good auto-journalists who have built their credibility over the years and will speak honestly. Those are the only ones to pay attention to anyway....

I see where this is going. The journalist that like the car are Porschephiles and those that don't are honest.

This car will blow the socks off most if not all the journalist. Where can you get a quality car like a Porsche GT3 with out of the world performance and excellent DD attributes for $130,400. It is the value car of 2014.

No he didn't He's just one of the few that isn't "stuck" with the PAST as in " I want a manual" (reminds me of a 2-year old temper-tantrum)
I actually can't wait to get rid of my manual in my 11' GT3 and concentrate on driving... And oh, yeah, I want that power of nearly 500HP

I LOVE the RS's & GT Series of cars Porsche has produced.
AP has an great track record....most of us on these forums are driving his babies.
Yes our cars are not 100% bullet proof, but compared to the competition they're damn close. & they're such great drives- on & off the track.

I love manual transmissions & wish there was an option on the 991GT3.
I'm giving AP a chance on the 991GT3, hey he did a great job on my car.
