Best place/price for extended Porsche warranty?

My Panamera Turbo's factory warranty is expiring in about 45 days and I'm interested in purchasing a VSP through a Porsche dealer. I've got a call into my local dealer but haven't heard back on pricing of VSP plans. I've been reading some dealers will mark these plans up hundreds of dollars, and I would expect my dealer would be no different. Can anyone here share what they were offered for both Powertrain and Platinum plans on a Panamera Turbo, so I can be sure I'm not overpaying?

My dealership told me that they contacted PFS and were flat-out told no to my request for an extended warranty because my car (.2 GT3) is outside of the factory warranty. It seems that some dealerships are playing by different rules.

They are not. Your warranty or CPO must still be “In tact” to get the Porsche Extended Platinum Warranty.

He did say, "I would be failing you if I did not request an exception to underwriting" which was approved within days.
I have a calendar reminder to call and ask again BEFORE my current PFS VSP warranty expires 2028, or @ 101k miles.
Maybe I can get through one more G6 replacement by then, ha!

That's the name of it. The Platinum VSC provided by Porsche Financial Services. The quotes and everything is all on PFS letterhead from my dealer. Same $250 deductible and all that.
All I can say is that it was articulated to me that existing CPO didn't matter and it was a warranty contract put in place based on the date it was executed (pending inspection) and not tied to in-service dates like a factory or CP

Perhaps I was fortunate to have reached out to the finance manager to inquire about an extended warranty 5 months remaining under CPO?

That aspect was complete LUCK.
Official verbiage (below) from the website is somewhat misleading because I did not purchase (nor was offered) at time of purchase other than the standard wheel/tire/windshield/dent repair.
Unless the interpretation of CPO counts as "manufacturers new vehicle limited warranty?"
"Available on new, pre-owned, and Certified Pre-Owned Porsche vehicles at the time of purchase or lease. Also available after vehicle purchase or lease if the vehicle is still covered under the manufacturers new vehicle limited warranty."

2015 GT3 with G6 Engine - Warranty Options
I’m new here, first post. Been reading a lot and trying to understand what options are available to me. Looking at a 2015 GT3. Engine was replace with G6 Oct of 22. In service date Dec 2014.
My understanding is even the new G6 engine warranty would expire Dec of 2024 due to the 10 year warranty on the car, is that correct?
With that being said, the car is currently “under warranty”, should I be able to purchase the Porsche Platinum Extended Warranty as it’s still under it’s original warranty?
Any advice or options? New G6 engine only has about 4,000 miles on it but worried about the rest of the car.
thank you!

But no the car is not "under warranty" or "under it's original warranty" just the motor.

We offer warranty coverage for these 991.1 GT3 cars, total payout is $20K per claim / $40K per policy for about $7,500. On something like G6 motor car, I think it is plenty of coverage, we've had customers have their PDK replaced for almost the exact $20K at Porsche dealerships.
My contact information is below if you'd like more information, and an example contract that explains coverage.

Does the Platinum extended warranty show up on My Porsche for any of you? For example I still have CPO until 12/24, and just purchased Porsche's Platinum Warranty, but not sure if it updates in the Porsche system or not.

I'm not sure, and to not be "bias" I'm not going to give you a complete no, but I know it can be very circumstantial ie. local dealership / state / vehicle status / dealer sale / stuff like that...

I don't track my 3RS, I would consider a warranty if someone sold one.
