GT3 Drivers: How much attention do you get?

I got way more attention with my 91 NSX than any of my Porsche GT cars.

Test drove the car today (private seller) before I make the purchase. No one really looked! Except for a group of boys on the sidewalk. So yeah, I think most look at it as another obnoxious boy racer car. And that's perfect for me

Many years ago, the cops actually were called when I went ape sh** on an old Subaru that intentionally parked next to my wife's beautiful IS300 many spaces out in a parking lot and hit her car with two big door dings. When I saw the damage, I proceeded to rip their door handle off, kick their door trim off, and bash in the side of their car with the heel of my foot. Sadly, it didn't look much worse than when I started.
My wife wouldn't ride with me (she was horrified at my behavior) so I left and when she called me 15 minutes later to come back and get her (that was awkward), I saw a police car out there by the Subaru. I called the store manager and he said he had grainy video that kind of showed the incident. I told him, hypothetically speaking, what happened and he said he completely understood my position and said the video had no identifying information and told me to have a nice day.

I think we may share a gene.

Around here, Tourings thankfully get no attention. Wings get all the attention...

It’s been a lot since the full Dundon kit, my laziness to remove track numbers doesn’t help either.
Deep down I might be missing the stealth black Carrera 4S days, was so much easier to speed in that thing without causing a riot, and fewer people trying to race me on the highway.

I have a chalk touring. I get 1, 2 or 3 thumbs up every single drive. Had an older guy get out of his corvette at a red light and walk up to me and say nice car through my window and he went back to his car....No-one has tried to race me (sure its just a matter of time), but frequently someone will pull up along side and sit there a bit for me to look over and see a thumbs up...get a "nice car" frequently at the gas station. Kids turn and point...one little guy with his dad waved at me today from the sidewalk and gave me a thumbs up so gave them a 3-2 downshift and little blast and he was jumping up and down clapping...that was awesome, felt like this guy --> ....So far I've only had good attention, but there aren't a lot of Porsches around me.

Oh man, I totally get this guy. I hate car attention more than anything but have an addiction to bright vibrant racecars so I drive my cars head forward minding my own biz.
It is ALL about color and how big the **** is hahaha. White Gt3 got absolutely 0 attention. 2019 Miami blue Gt3RS with bight silver wheels gets more attention than my Red Ferrari Scud here in Santa Monica/Brentwood/Westwood. Women, (especially older as weird as that is) seem to complement the color of the car more than you would ever expect. The Ferrari def get looks and little kids seem to love that thing more than anyone haha. but, If you get a miami blue Gt3rs, or Orange or red or yellow or frog green. Expect a lot of attention. White/silver/black/chalk I'm sure not much.
My original build for literally the attention reason was a black Gt3RS and then take off the wing (looks just like a turbo basically), then my friends told me that was criminal so I edited my build at the last second to MB, def dont regret it

I almost sprayed water at my neighbor and his dog not realizing he had been standing there while soaping the car.

Three Wheelin'
I live in Cocoa Beach and every time I take the GT car out I either get guys taking pictures (or drive by videos) and get some pretty funny interactions on the road with people waving beside me to get my attention. Had a Ferrari owner (512 M Vert) looking her over pretty closely in my grocery store parking lot who stopped me inside and we chatted for a couple minutes; Dude has an F40 he is working to get back on the road, which I told him I definitely want to see. Wifey and me took the GT out for dinner and drinks at Port Canaveral two weeks ago, which is a pretty lively night time destination with lots of pedestrians and the GT was the Bell of the Ball. We then stopped for a couple more drinks at a hole in the wall bar and as we were at the bar a guy walks in and Says "okay whoever owns the Porsche should be buying drinks", it was pretty funny. Then on our last leg wifey wanted a Manhattan so we stopped at my fave downtown Cocoa Beach bar and restaurant because the front spot happened to be open and two or three guys were taking pictures and then shooting a video when we left. It was a fun night and no one ever uttered an inappropriate comment. Having said all that mine is the GT2 RS and here in Brevard county I think I may be only one of two owners so she is treated like a pretty special car.
