The MSRP on this one is $167k. Last I heard they wanted $240k for it.
I think they persuaded a lot of their clients to trade in their Touring’s for the new 992 GT3 while the market is still hot. I bet a lot of them broke even from when they bought it new or even made money.
They do have great examples - but $240K for a nice one but without LWBS and CCB's - seems ambitious?
Also the cynic in me says - the owner drove it for all of 2K miles in almost 2 years - a real enthusiast car, best 911 DD enjoyed to the max. . Here's another example, that wasn't driven very much and certainly not as a DD. The cynic in me continues to say if its all about preserving value and $$ - they could have bought AAPL stock and a Touring poster and made more money than not driving the car. Maybe they had 10 other cars and cant drive em all.. If you are driving these great cars - hats off to you.. If you aren't, certainly a good time to sell.
Drove it to the office 4 of 5 days last week
Drove it to the mall on Saturday to exchange some shoes
Drove it yesterday an hour each way to an out of town soccer game for my son.
Not driving it today to the office, 'cause 35 degrees and heavy rain....FJ62 type of day today.
I agree though, if you're not driving them, might as well sell now...I have no future view on prices (other than what I posted a week or so ago) but prefer they all make their way into hands of people that will enjoy them.

Great to see you enjoying it - cant put a price on that. certainly heavy rain and cold is not the best weather for a Touring though .
