Curious about your opinion about this 991.2 touring on BAT. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...t3-touring-42/ How negative or positive is it that this car is bare bones with minimal options (i.e. no radio, sunroof etc.) My son bought a BMW M3 that was stock and no options, but it had a premium attached to it because of how rare a no option M3 is.

Nice looking car and spec. You will get a lot of opinions here. The build might be a negative for some, but surely positive for others--its like all else beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I fall somewhere in the middle -- I must have PCCBs for example as I don't want to clean wheels anymore and would not plan to track the car (sad that i am so lazy and don't actually favor them for the lighter unsprung weight they bring to the table). I also love buckets in this type of car (this has them so great). I do like the minimalist feel of this build otherwise but wouldn't necessarily pay a premium for it. The plastic dash bothers a lot of people but I don't care there. The car is special enough as it is just due to the model so will have a lot of eyes on and should do well even if it might be considered bordering a "driver" example (which makes me laugh at 2k miles per year and is not a concern to me at 2x that level but again would perhaps be for others who want a super low mile car).

Enthusiast spec. No fluff with buckets. I love it. The 4.0 will be your radio so don't worry about that too much.

As far as a sunroof, you're not going to see those on any GT car fortunately.

I know a touring can be hard to find. That said, if I was going to pay a premium for a touring it would have to come with the options I want - no exceptions. So if this is equipped how you want it, then that’s all that matters.

I like the 'idea' of no options but having gone from a .1 RS to a .2 Touring i appreciate the back up camera and Carplay every time I drive it. I personally wouldn't want a Touring with no radio but that's a choice and someone will like that aspect.

Prices dip a small amount in the winter but also those with unique specs or good cars know that so they hold them until spring. If you're looking for a lower mile clean car or unique spec then I'd say just buy when the right one comes up and don't sweat a few grand.

You are righr also missing out on the best driving months. I’m looking for manual and preferably silver with PCCB and front axle lift kit < $195k. I missed one in PA that I deeply regret that another Rennlist bought congrats to him.

Anyone in western North Carolina or Charlotte VA willing to take a look at this car for me? I’ll make it worth your time.

https://hbiauto.com/sale/certified-p...ac2a93js176129

Price seems to good to be True vs window sticker however it is a Canadian car, was in an accident with ‘minor’ damage, and is certified albeit not by Porsche but apparently the same warranty.

Would you consider this car?

Dealer seems to have a decent selection of Porsche vehicles at reasonable prices and offers a good amount of information per each car in a nice website--so that part appears ok at first blush. Though at this level of car and money I would not let a discount of $10-25K be the overriding factor--more important to get what you want in all respects...from spec to mileage to quality. This particular car looks like it received good maintenance while in Canada--the damage is obviously the part to delve into a bit. Getting eyes on there as you are requesting is a good first step.

Doesn't really seem too good to be true given those variables. Also sofas and Guards, maybe not the most sought after color.

Personally would not consider in the listed price range.
