Gotta say, I just spent the entire day driving my '15 GT3, and I absolutely love this thing. I feel a little bit sad every time I have to put it up for the night.

Don't be afraid of 2014s unless you want the carbon buckets. They make Apple Carplay retrofit kits too...worst case the bluetooth audio still does the trick. Buy one, you won't regret it.

I’ve had a 15 GT3 for a couple of years and even coming from a manual I still love the car. The turbo is great too but I don’t have much emotion to that due to the sound. Not a better car for less than $125K out there.

buy one and enjoy for years especially with the warranty.

regarding the manual, to satisfy that, I’ll be getting an air cooled in about 1-2 years and then be happy with both!

Most of the ones I am looking are CPO's and I know about the additional 10yr engine warranty. Does production date matter for 2015's? Some of the GT3's I am looking at are late 2014's production dates (11/2014 Prod Date)

I would love a 2018 GT3 but they are slightly out of my budget

GT3's are just so dang sexy!
I bought a 1 owner 15 gt3 last year and couldn't be happier.

140K is my max, which I may be able to find 991.2 in that range if I'm patient!

I was crazy to get a 2015 GT3 last year and 6k miles later no regrets. I just made sure I would get all the options I wanted like FAL, PCCB, LED, Leather, Extend Tank.

Given whats happening right now - if you are ready to pull the trigger, i'd suggest you wont need much patience. Put out a WTB with your budget and realistic options for a 2018. Obviously Tourings will be more expensive (probably not for that $$) but a regular non-PTS winged GT3 PDK with a few miles will be able to be bought for that budget. Now if you want sub 1000 miles and every last option - then you may have to wait. GL - this is probably a buying opportunity.

I purchased a 2015 with 6k miles. I don't regret anything about it. Absolutely a blast to drive, and the PDK is simply awesome! My wife and I take it out as much as we can.

Go for it. Buy what u like. Don’t worry about resale value. Every car depreciates. 1 out of 100 models appreciate in value. We are all grown ups who like toys and there will always be something else on the wish list. Enjoy!

This. No way I would buy a .1 especially considering the price difference and availability of a manual.

so you liked all the newer technology stuff???

IMO, for the money, you can't beat the 997

A 997 is a fantastic car but with the PDK and the assists like RWS and safety features the 991 is a total toy. So fun.

CarPlay is easy in the 991.1, just got to add an module and some wiring.

It is a concern, until you really start to push the car, and then you are amazed at the speed it can attain! PDK is incredible. With ever increasing traffic, and tailgaters, PDK is superior.

Back to the OP, the 991 GT3 is an incredible machine! It totally won me over on all counts. I drove everything I could in and out of budget, and kept going back to the GT3. Really the only thing that is missing is low end torque.
