Default Help! Goat hit my GT3

2 nights ago me and my wife were driving in rural area. A goat ran out of the brush on the passenger side of the road and hit my car. I had a split second to brake but it did not prevent it.

Question: anyone know the best way to fix this?

I had a paintless repair guy look at it and he said since it is aluminum and metallic paint he does not think it will work. His is the only opinion I have gotten so far. Any experience with something like this?

I have seen PDR work on aluminum first hand on a friends 997 Turbo, hood.

I would get another PDR opinion. That should be possible to remove.

I’d ask the dealer in Bend if they have a PDR person that can do it.

Based on those mud flaps, I say, just roll with it.

Mine is not a garage queen. Already have 4,700 miles on my 2019. I have had enough 911s to know what happens to the rear wheel wells even with PPF.

might be the photo but i'd be worried about that body gap as much as the dent itself.

No, it's not. On the GT3 they are aluminum, RS they are carbon. Maybe the base/S/GTS are steel. The front fenders are steel on my 718 GTS.

Don't believe me, test it with a magnet.

I put a magnet on it and the gas door is steel but the fender is aluminum.

As long as the paint is not cracked then a good paint less dude can get most of that out but the part that will stand out is the crease on the edge that will not work out right. Our white cars with that paint is pretty easy to match. I'd purchase a new fender and have it replaced. Not much money and keep it out of insurance. They can match the color to the fuel door and if it's color sanded correctly it'll be pretty close to perfect.

I also agree with the guy who commented about the door gap. It's definitely bent in. Replacing the fender is best.

I think you are correct and I will probably just replace the fender. The passenger door hits a hair on the fender so it is bent.
