2 nights ago me and my wife were driving in rural area. A goat ran out of the brush on the passenger side of the road and hit my car. I had a split second to brake but it did not prevent it.
Question: anyone know the best way to fix this?
I had a paintless repair guy look at it and he said since it is aluminum and metallic paint he does not think it will work. His is the only opinion I have gotten so far. Any experience with something like this?
As long as the paint is not cracked then a good paint less dude can get most of that out but the part that will stand out is the crease on the edge that will not work out right. Our white cars with that paint is pretty easy to match. I'd purchase a new fender and have it replaced. Not much money and keep it out of insurance. They can match the color to the fuel door and if it's color sanded correctly it'll be pretty close to perfect.
