Carbon Fiber steering wheel trim for WP cars
Anyone received their carbon fiber steering wheel trim piece yet for your GT3RS WP spec’d cars? I have seen a few w/ GT2RS WP car owners mention they had received theirs after inquiring with their dealer and have since had them installed. I would assume it’s the same trim piece for both the 2 & 3RS. Anyone with the 3RS gotten yours yet?

Yes. October 2018 GT3 RS build and I received mine about a month ago from the dealer. It does have to be dealer installed so I used it as an excuse to go check out the 992 when at the dealer.

Pretty strange, gt2rs Dec '18 built and late January delivery... Mine was available Sept 1st but not in August when I checked. It was installed last week and they let me keep the previous black one.
One note, check ur paddle shifters, I've heard people are having issues. Mine was checked and slightly sanded by the tech during install to ensure no issue.

I got my carbon fiber steering wheel trim about 3 weeks ago. December build that I got in February. The SA or service people at your dealer have to stay on it and check to see if they can order. My SA was checking weekly.

October '18 build, December '18 delivery, still looking at a regular RS steering wheel instead of my $18,000 unique WP steering wheel, nearly a year driving a heavier car.
So much pain and suffering, I want my money back...j/k
