Conspiracy theory...wonder if this is Porsche's way to support people keeping their cars longer. LOL

September '18 GT2RS build, received carbon October '19. Elected not to install but have stored it so we always have it with the car.

Beautiful steering wheel. My car is a september 2018 build and STILL NOTHING. I contacted the local dealer to try and squeeze this in with one year service but no luck.

I called a local dealer (not the original dealer) last week and inquired about assisting me on this. They said no problem, we can get you in next week if you wish. I was surprised they could do it so soon however I pushed it out till the Christmas break as that's more convenient for me. They did say it would be a "several hour long process" which did surprise me but no complaints so far.

DB carbon makes this exact part. I always wondered if they were making them for Porsche.

Needless to say I ordered tihs for my .2 GT3 last year and had it in like 6 weeks. Going to now order the CF Interior door handles because if you have the CF interior upgrade you will soon notice the metal- like handles look out of place now.

Took my dealership 20 minutes to install.

Just got this installed today. In and out in less than an hour. They wouldn’t let me keep the old one though....

Received mine. Car was delivered in Belgium. But a recall was noticed with the Vin so any Porsche center could order it, in any EU country.
It pops the interior well. Nice part.

I really like the carbon inserts on the steering wheel. Did you have the dealer install the extended paddles at the same time?
