yes I liked how the heritage edition black calipers worked with this spec so I had my dealer install and just boxed up the original yellow ones. Considered painting a different color as well but really happy with decision especially with the silver wheels

In the shade it totally looks like Verde British or event Brewsters Green.
And then under light it shows the metallic.
I find that green is a really hard car to photograph too.

I have now joined the Speedster club. Car has only 200 miles. Any break in advice? Car is sweet. Love the gearbox. I have a 991.2 GT3 manual with upgraded Dundon exhaust, throttle body and airbox. Trying to figure out if I should live with stock exhaust as the cars character feels different.

Hey guys - I'm new to this thread and just starting to snoop around for a nice 991 Speedster. I'm a driver, not a collector and there is the argument floating around that with the price of the Speedster it's more of an investment car. I disagree, but at the same time, is anyone here putting on some decent miles? I don't need another car that I'm constantly worried about road wear!
I'd be jumping from the PTS 718 Spyder in my avatar. I want something that's got a better sounding engine and a top that drops. I first saw the 991 Speedster at the NY Auto Show in April of 2019. Loved it.
Maybe this question has been asked before so please humor me. Tku.

I think the majority of us speedster owners on this forum are drivers. Granted it's most likely not our only car and it's a drop top. So those of us that live in an area with true winters, gives us a limited driving window. Mine will come out of storage in the Spring and enjoyed until early fall only to replicate process the following year. So realistically I see myself adding 2-3k miles a year. I hate the word investment as that brings speculators into the fold and ruins it for us drivers. But I don't plan on selling as I love the car that much, so values beyond what I paid for it are a moot topic.
I tend to do trips with my cars cause the roads around me are awful, so I need to drive to great roads.
These do tend to add up the miles quickly, 3500-4000 miles annually.

Porsche’s are not like Ferrari’s- you can add miles and the discount will be relatively small. There will be very few high miles cars. Enthusiasts will fight to buy one that is discounted- therefore the discount will be small. I say drive- Porsche makes an incredibly solid, reliable and exciting car. One week in on mine- this is a very, very special drive.

I take it that you've had two Spyders in the past. Any initial comments on the ride, handling, engine, gearbox etc...
Thanks in advance,
