Some folks are removing the material inside the OPF.
I have the next 4 months 🥶❄️ to think about it. LOL.

The OPF filter needs to be removed and the original muffler put back on.

I hear what the OPF does to the car and I really dislike it.

I have the 992 Touring and the sound with the stock muffler and OPF is much nicer and melodic.

This is a work in Progress.
Sorry, I meant I installed the JCR exhaust on the car when the car had 2,500 miles. I waited 2500 miles to see if the stock exhaust once broken in and opened up would be what I was looking for. I felt like the stock exhaust was just a little too quiet. The JCR turned everything up a few notches in every way.

For me removing the muffler definitely turned the noise up, however for me loud doesn’t translate to better.

This is still a work in progress for me.

Spot on sound quality is much better than volume. The below was the best sounding GT3, this car was my gateway drug into Porsches.

I’m surprised no one makes a replacement piece just for the OPF section, especially for markets where they are not monitored as in North America.

While slightly louder by a few DB the quality, depth, and breath of the multiple simultaneous pitches is what drew me to the JCR. That along with the build quality. If Porsche chooses JCR for their race cars that kinda speaks volumes at least to me.

BCF out of the UK said they have something in the works.
They mostly use Inconel.

Available brands seem to be GMG, JCR, BFC, Fabspeed, Akrapovic.
Materials looks mostly to be titanium or Inconel.
I just did the Dundon Ti setup and couldnt be happier....there is a good video floating around with it.
