When I read those threads I always think to myself….. these guys surely can’t afford their cars if they are always so worried about how much they are worth today and what they are going to be worth tomorrow.

Since I’m toying with the idea of an exhaust I was wondering if we could maybe start an ongoing review.

I think only Condor Man has gone through with it.

Available brands seem to be GMG, JCR, BFC, Fabspeed, Akrapovic.
Materials looks mostly to be titanium or Inconel.

I am real sound junky in a car and I pick up on certain sounds and frequencies that I like and dislike.

For me, I still feel that the OPF is the culprit and this has to be taken out.

I did this with my GT4 and it just opened her up!

In the GT4 you don’t need to replace the headers to get rid of the OPF filter if I recall correctly? I had a 718 Spyder briefly and had actually purchased the Akra pipes but sold the car before installing them.

@stalker99 This is correct.

It was actually quite and easy job.

Two ways to do this in the Speedster.

1. Chisel them out.

2. Go with Headers.

@unotaz with the light blue PTS Speedster has Dunden headers from memory.

Gorgeous weekend up here. Working on thoroughly deprecating this as much as possible before the first snow.

Good friend of mine has 18000kms on his, the Heritage car is his and mine is the one behind it.
I’m anticipating driving it about 5000-6000kms per year, we normally do two trips down to the Blue Ridge Parkway per year which clocks up the miles quickly.

Interesting to hear you states KM’s instead of miles.

Are you in Canada?

funny you say that. The bulk of my miles are from trips to the Smokies and Blue ridge parkway. This car is meant for ripping through the mountains.

Is your car Meerblau??? Love the spec.

You are so right!!!
We come down through Skyline Drive(VA), Blue Ridge, then head back up to Toronto.

Some great roads around Ashville, NC(heading up to Hot Springs) if you have the time to explore.

It’s definitely one of my highlights annually. Absolutely love going down with my friends. We have a good group of 4-5 cars.

Done the trip in numerous other cars but this will be the first year in the Speedster, very excited.
