After Stelvio (https://photos.app.goo.gl/1owx6XBBhUGTuXMg6), we drove west through Switzerland through a bunch of different roads we picked randomly. Ended up north of St. Moritz. The weather was great. It was low 20's around 12:00 and by the time we hit Como it was 26. Stelvio to Como was all top down. I think we drove for about 5 hours. One stop to grab a quick bite. The ride was very comfortable......

[QUOTE=daericks;16151091]Mine just arrived at the dealership. I'll post more pics when I get them. I'm not in the same state as the car or I'd go take some myself.

Stunning congratulations on the Heritage Pack. UK was very limited

Hi guys. Any stats yet on how many of the 1948 will be coming to the US and Canada as well as a breakdown of colors, options, etc?

I recently took European delivery of my Speedster and wanted to share the experience. I have owned a few GT3's in the past, specifically a 997.1, 997.2, 991.1 and 991.2. My daily ride now is a 991.2 RS.

After I spec'd the car (Heritage package and lots more), I was second guessing myself on why I ordered this car. I was on the fence with how the car looked, the high price tag and the not so limited production numbers. On the other hand, I liked the concept of a GT3 cab with Speedster styling. And although there are 1948 of them, its still a numbered car.

When I first saw the car at the factory, I was pleasantly surprised. It looked way better to me in real life then it did in pictures. Same with the interior colour......looked way better against the GT silver than I thought it would. After a 45 minute delivery process, a tour of the factory and then lunch in their dining room, my buddy and I were off to Xpel to prep the car with PPF before our road trip. For those of you who don't know, Xpel opened their own installation shop in Stuttgart a month ago. Florine from Xpel was great. The car was ready the next morning at 7:00 am.

First stop was Salzburg. Lots of thumbs up from other drivers on the Autobahn. The car felt great.....really great! The throttle response was smooth, handling was tight and the ride was really comfortable. After a night in Salzburg, we drove through the Umbria Pass in Italy, stayed overnight in Stelvio and then did the Stevio Pass the next day. From there, we drove through a bit or Switzerland on our way to Lake Como. After a couple of nights in Como, we went to Alba in Italy for a couple of nights. Our last stop was Eze in the South of France. Beautiful spot. I dropped the car off at a Porsche contracted shipping agent at Nice airport. That experience was pretty easy....took 15 minutes.

It's hard for me to describe the feeling I had driving this car for 2000 km. All I can say is I enjoyed every minute of it and I was sad to let it go.....
Wow, congrats!! Great choice with the heritage pack.

Would love to see that on the streets of TO.

Would be interested to know how much vig the dealer wants above MSRP... Good luck with it. My opinion- agate is one of the best colors.

Would never own another convertible. Not a huge fan of them....

But the Speedster is a beautiful car....
