Nice! Thanks for sharing this. I found next to nothing when making my decision.

Did you have to bolt to floor? Thickness of your floor?

Thanks for very detailed write up. Not being able to get the lower car further in is what is making me lean towards the bendpak.

thanks guys!

they run $5k shipped.

i dont know if you "have to" bolt to the floor or not. i like the idea of it bolting to the floor given the mechanism of the lift. i don't know the thickness of my floor off of the top of my head.

for what it is worth, this lift comes from bendpak. not sure to what extent they are involved with the design, but they sell/distribute it.

This is a very fitting thread. I've spent the last 2 days looking for more info on this lift as i'm in a spot where I just brought another car home (63 impala) and my 996 Turbo is getting forced outside). Can you tell me the width on the inside of the bottom? Need to make sure I can fit the impala in.

I think i'd be cutting it super close on this. My garage beams are 110" up, the 996 is lowered about 1.5" putting it at about 50"....the impala is 55" stock height but i can lay the frame, i think that puts it at about 51", maybe 52" with it still being moveable.

my next problem is my impala is LONNGGGGGG. not sure i'll be able to get out....

I read a post saying all the testing they did was without them bolted to the floor. But they recommended bolting to insure the lift doesn't shift when loading.

CBrett, please post your impressions of how well your RS fits when you’re able. My Gt3 is ok on my current lift but the rear tires don’t have a lot of margin. If the RS fits fine I may switch to autostacker. Thanks again for this post.

I considered the same lift for my two car garage. Decided it would be too difficult to get in and out of the vehicle. Settled on a single post American customs lift.

I should have got that too instead of a 4 post, how much was the lift if you don't mind me asking?

Many thanks! This would be perfect for me if I could drive through the lift. Can you post a pic of the rear connector bar that joins the 2 sides? Is it structural? Or just a cover for the hydraulics? Also looks like there is room/clearance to ramp over it. Height of rear connector?
Thanks.

wow 103" is wider than the Bendpak 4 post 9 series. Did you get the single motor version or the double motor version?
