I wonder if this part is changed on 992 GT3. Whatever they changed, it seems to have worked. Would be nice if 992 parts are backwards compatible.
I don't have the PET catalog in front of me so I don't know what the new part number is...however the old one is 9A1-107-167-92 and it says that " it doesn't fit ".
However,a permanent solution in my eyes is replacing the cheap rubber crimped hose with RaceFlux Stainless Steel Braided PTFE Hose with AN fittings and it will last " forever ".
Now that many 991.2 GT3s are out of warranty, has anyone had this issue fixed out of warranty? Seems like the labor cost will be quite high with having to reposition the engine to gain access to the pipe. I don't have any drips on the undertray currently, but I have not yet inspected the area around the crank oil feed line. If there is minor seepage or a few drops of oil around the pipe, are most people just monitoring it at every oil change?
Gave my car to a Porsche specialist workshop at the end of last week for Dundon Street Headers and PDK full Maintenance (OIl pan, new oil and new clutch oil). Just made 20km to go back home and park the car in the garage. Today, I found a 10cm diameter oil stain on the floor at the left rear tire.I wonder even if it doesn’t sink on the tire
New oil, transparent, no particular odor.
I can't see anything under the car, it's too low. I had a trip planned within a few hours...what a disappointment...do you have any suggestions on what I should check and how?
There were no oil anywhere before the service, maybe a a poor tightening?

That does not seem consistent with leaking from the crankshaft oil supply pipe, which would leave a spot in the center/rearward part of the drip tray. Seems like it might be coming from another location like the oil filter (which is on the left side) or the PDK

So we dismantled everything...and it’s dry, not a drop in the protections or diffuser, not a drop that would explain the place where I found the oil on the floor...mystery!
But...on an angle of the PDK oil pan, it was clearly oily.
Of doubt, we did the complete emptying with a new Pan and new pan screws...I drove 100km and after 1 hour pause...another drop on the floor...I don’t understand...
I’ll leave a few days and see how the garage floor is...

Chrck PDK vent tube on the top of the transmission. It’s known to over flow and there is a TSB for longer vent tube.
Had mine replaced under good will from Porsche. The engine has to come out for this job.
Maybe after the may be that after refill/emptying, there is more oil in the PDK and it is more fluid, so I can maybe let it naturally remove excess oil?
If we can access to the tube, I can maybe insert a catch can inside?

The vent tube can be seen from under the car.
There is a one way check valve in the tip of the tube. Here you can see an oil droplet forming
I experienced this leak on track after a full PDK service (fluid & filter/pan change) the tech says the fluid level was verified via PWIIS after PDK service. I lost about 0.75 liter on track mostly splashed in the wheel well area and some hit the exhaust and smoked on right hand turns.
Porsche’s TSB solution extends this tube 5x and places it on top of the transmission. No more leaking observed after the work.
Has anyone replaced the crank feed oil pipe themselves yet? I had my car apart to change the serpentine belt, and noticed this leak where the hose inserts into the cap, as well as a leaky tensioner. I've already ordered the tensioner, but need to figure out how to replace this oil feed pipe.
It looks like the cap slides off, requiring replacement of some o-rings. It looks like the ac compressor has to come off, but it appears to be a hard connection, where it can't be moved to the side without opening the system.
It looks like the AC compressor can be moved out of the way. Only a portion of the lines are hard lines. Not a GT3 in the article above, but the compressor should be a very similar part, if not the same part.
