I would also suggest a phone call to the GM. Being a prior customer I cant imagine that they would just kick you to the curb in this fashion. Maybe even consider going to see them in person and get to the bottom of why you were treated this way?
Then, If you still feel the way you are feeling now,, go get the F car and then go back to see him again, just so he knows he has lost a customer for good. I am also betting the person who owns that dealership would not be too happy about this situation.

agree with both suggestions. Meet with GM. If you have history with dealer and yet salesman screws you, often GM can help.

If GM still doesn’t help, then I agree, go buy a 458, stop at your previous dealer to show it off and show them how they lost a good customer for life. Be sure to mail photo of your Ferrari to Porsche dealership owner as well.

The bummer for you is that if you had known up front that you would not have received an allocation, you could have gone to a different dealership. Now it is too late. It's a total screw job. Since you had a deposit down (it was accepted) and you bought many Porsches from this dealership I can understand that you thought it was in the bag.

Anybody considering McLarens instead of the 458?

There was a nice 458 literally down the street from me for sale last week that was perfect. 2014 Grigio Titanio low mileage base for 209k. If it was still available I'd probably pick it up on my way home today.

Also, not a huge fan of Lamborghini.....But is it weird that I like the the Huracan??

I would go 458 over a new Huracan and Mac 570S/GT personally, but those are all great options to evaluate. The 458 has the howling NA V8 and last mid-engined Ferrari Pininfarina designed. It is close to perfection IMO and one of my all-time favorite Ferraris. That being said, buying new can be fun and better for warranty as well. The good news is that from my understanding the 2013 and up 458s come with the 7 year maintenance pack, but don't know how useful it really is. YMMV

In terms of GT3's, it has always been difficult for buyers since the 997 days, but this one takes the cake. I think it is a combination that most believe this is the last NA GT3, and the effect even more amplified by the fact that Porsche cut production to only one model year. Dealers are not getting much allocation for GT3's and actually not getting much allocation for any 911 in general! I truly believe this is the last chance to get a NA GT3 forever. There may be a few special limited production models in the next two years, but no more NA GT3, especially ones with a manual.

If only Porsche had some real competitors, particularly naturally aspirated manual ones.

They would think twice about treating paying customers with such a ridiculous level of indifference. Hate the company, love the cars.

I got sick of the games too. Turns out, our money is good at Mclaren and Aston Martin. Bought a 570...actually a bit more exciting than GT3. Only hate the lack of manual tranny.

Stunning color combo.. I'll be stopping by the local Mclaren dealer this week as well.

I feel used...... I'm probably going to do something stupid and by a 458 now!

Call your SA - I'm gonna guess it's the same dealer that I had a deposit with. got mine returned too but was told that I am still on their list, they had too many deposits on their books. Now is that true or not....
