Easy, just take off the wing and wing uprights on the RS and you'll have an RS Touring.

If money is not the problem, I'd buy them both.

Agree. For me the RS looks over the top. GT3 hits sweet spot of an amazing visceral sports car, that looks at home everywhere.

To similar, I would rather waist that money on another watch, LOL.

In a way yes. I still have my 991.1 GT3RS and will soon unload to give way for the 991.2 GT3RS. The 991.2 GT3 is for sure a great improvement, and both cars are great in their own respective traits.

About watches, swiss watches are tops. Never owned a Porsche watch but here it is to match the car.

what time of the year did Porsche announce the .1GT3RS? Was it at a Geneva car show? If so, how soon after were allocations given to US dealers?

Geneva Car Show typically first week of March. Not sure about the exact date. After the Geneva Car Show, allocations were handed out within a month or so if I am not mistaken. I think I configured my 991.1 GT3RS late April or early May. Then on the second week of August 2015, I received MY 2016 991.1 GT3RS.

I would say time line will be about the same for this new 991.2 GT3RS. I also had been wrong before.

Well, Porsche is if anything fairly predictable. They don't deviate from establish protocols. I suspect the .2GT3RS will have a very similar roll out.
