991.2 GT3 RS

Here is a higher res picture. You can see more of the detail including the addition of "strakes" on the black side air intake the green strip around the wheels. Also, the rear wing looks like it has much higher curve.

This is the first time I'm seeing those. I don't like them at all. They just seem tacked on and out of place.
I'm sure the wind tunnel says they smooth airflow or otherwise do comething with purpose. I think they look dumb though.

I don't like them either, I think they're for sound deflection

That high res picture is great. You can clearly see the front louvers are still plastic but raised as are the side intake pieces. I wonder if the Weissach package will change these to carbon or if they'll keep that for the GT2? It's hard to believe those 5 little bumps could make much difference to the air flow but maybe it smooths it out a bit.

I don't think anyone ever rubbed the louvers. Some rubbed the wheel well liners and maybe the grill below the louvers but not the actual louvers. I imagine getting the louvers up in the air stream creates significantly more draw.

Presumably they made more room under there since tires were rubbing. Moving everything up probably didn't leave enough room for the recessed louvers anymore so they moved them up above the fenders.
I actually like the old ones better. That said though... even if I like the old ones and don't like those new bumps on the side intakes... I expect both of these changes weren't just for aesthetics so the looks are secondary. I'm quite ok with that.

Don't agree at all. Part of the reason why the UK has such an issue with allocations is imo due to the price not being adjusted in line with the rest of Europe. More people want the cars perceived as 'value' while PAG are disincentivised to provide more cars as it makes less revenue for them. Bump up the UK prices by 15-20% to be in line with EU prices and it might actually be easier for those who really want the cars for driving to get them. I for one wouldn't mind paying a bit more than to have to crawl through broken glass in order to beg an allocation of a GT car from a UK OPC.

Wow, that subtle green striping around the wheel looks really cool. Cant wait for them to release this beast and check it out in the flesh. My current 3RS.1 looks so awesome in the garage already, I often go out to the garage to look at it (and drink beer)- and I've had it over a year! This 3RS.2 looks like it will up the ante a bit.
