Love the new green - finally a unique factory color for those that don't want/can't get PTS. Wonder if they will keep it exclusive to the RS or offer it across the board. Seats look nice with the reptile scales, and that door pulls, stitching, and clubsport bar in exterior color - yummy!

If I were a 991.1 owner prolly not enough there to sway me. But to be expected especially for a facelift - subtle evolution.

Quite disapointing... i already get more HP with the akrapovics. i like the front hood i hope they will retrofit it with 1st gen. Im afraid the difference with 2.GT3 will not be noticeable too most of the drivers

Look up the history of the GT3 RS,there's no question about HP!

That was well said in another thread:
Guys, did we already forget what the hp difference was between the 997.2 GT3 and the 997.2 RS? It was 15hp.
What about the 997.1 GT3 and the 997.1 RS? It was ZERO hp difference.

I agree that PAG is very in line with what they have done before. The stiffness of the chassis and the setup of the engin will be sharper than GT3. So well if you didnt read alm what dreamers on RL had imagined and just look at the history you would be less disapointed. I m sure their will be demand but today between this or a little cheaper 2nd hand .1rs there is no big difference. Now i just hope PAG production capacity will limitate the supply and people that were holding themselves for .1RS will also make the jumpn making more liquidity on the .1RS market.

As of now, not writing an e-mail to the dealer with swetty palms hoping for an allocation.
I like the green and the whole green theme in the interior, however, I like the hood even more! If I won't swap my .1, I most likely will add the hood to it and try to make the vents works on the .1.
Sorry for the slight OT, but does the Porsche Extended warranty cover the exact same things as the original 2 year warranty? Might be worth it for the track guys if it is so..

Anybody else notice the matching green pinstripe on the wheels (just like the red offered on the .2 GT3)?

Agree. Small hp bump. 0 torque difference is more disappointing as with just some styling cues. Yawn. You guys are comparing GT3 to RS history but compare RS to RS history. Man they are really parsing it out and milking it. Their smart. They know we’re addicts and hooked. Feeding us just enough to make us come back but not enough to satisfy us. Classic pusher.

The car car doesn’t need the front brake cooling ducts. It cools fine now.

Green is nice but so are other colors. LO was “awesome” at .1RS launch and everyone wanted it.

The “green” craze means I would pick something else as everyone else will have green.

Unless it’s limited in production with high adms and I can get it at MSRP I have zero interest in bending over for this one just to make a change. 0

You will get a particulate filter standard though.

100 points!
the ones which speculate will not find and understand the difference.

are you left or right?

sell me your .1RS because they are old and not the best now. --> .2RS is the car of the trendy and track focused guys. all the bits and bobs make it such a better car. last pure NA RS. no hybrid or turbo. see 997.1 and 997.2 - 997.2 is way better - more recoverable. there will be built just 1/3 or maximum 50% of the timeframe and so of the number of units. 2.000 units ww vs. 6.000 ww on the .1RS.

sell me your .2RS allocations because it is not worth to buying it. --> .1RS is way cheaper and the same car. the car of the hip guys. nobody wants a particle filter.

The most novel thing about this car is that beautiful color. Otherwise, a .1 RS is 95% the same in my book. It's not the same huge change which happened with gt3 .1 & .2 where there was a displacement increase, new engine, and a new transmission option.

I may get laughed at for this... but I don't think premiums are going to be much different from .1 Rs for this .2... porsche could have done A LOT more with this car. Their "incremental steps" strategy has reach a level of minutiae which is impressively... minute.

Confirm you're selling it and Try seeing how much rennlisters will pay you for it, then tell them you changed your mind and you're keeping it and watch the collective heart-attack happen. Lots of other fun activities also like driving it. Infinite possibilities. Oh, and next one is confirmed to be turbo (like, for REAL realz)
